How to live an amazing life as a solar consultant

Ive been installing solar, electrical, batteries, car chargers, span panels, etc for 7 years in Florida. The last year i have been the sole service tech for the company. Struggling with 50k a year, im interested in transitioning to sales/consultant. I would love to get some insight from multiple people, this is an older video and times and housing prices have changed drastically. Im 38 and its time to step forward.

I'm not sure if this is an acture number.... b/c you are showing numbers BEFORE tax and expenses. so you'd have to sell double that in order to keep our lovely future lifestyle.

So the 5000 commission is only in California or is texas about the same? Because usually as what i know is they pay more in California for commissions and hourly.

@@huckleberryfinn2908 hey! I’m in Solar as a consultant (not D2D) and making $5,000 off of a sale is not far off :) I’ve seen sales on large properties where commission is $16000!! But $5,000/sale is pretty accurate. If you’re in FL you should definitely take a look at other companies that you could work for

This video may be misinforming because solar will be dead in about 3-5 years conservatively speaking. It's becoming much cheaper for solar which cuts the commission for the sales reps.
