I wish it were that easy. I always worry about what other people think about me. I just can't seem to shake it off.

Hey Robbie, I hear you and your worries. Each one of us gets anxious, especially so about being judged by others. Sometimes we, knowingly or unknowingly, take it to a degree where we begin to feel trapped by a particular narrative. and (regardless of whether our thoughts are occurring subconsciously, consciously, unconsciously, or maybe just little bits of each) they continue to fuel the narrative. What I can tell you is that it takes just a little bit of conscious effort to begin to change it. Maybe start by sitting down and talking to a friend, a loved one, or even just by yourself. New perspectives help, and who knows, maybe you find out that you're thinking about the opinions of those around you because you want something different for yourself than what you possibly have at ths moment. Sorry if it's a bit too much, but hang in there!! Small things shall pass :)

I have been so stressed with my job, I’m 19, live alone and really have no one. And work has been rough. Also I have diagnosed anxiety. I get so lost and worked up in my head and no one gets it. Everyone tells me to just calm down and stop over thinking. And that’s like telling someone who is having a stroke to stop having a stroke. I look into the most little things, over work it in my head, look to far into things. I worry about what others think of me, think of how i effected them? Or if I actually might be a bad person and I wouldn’t even know it. Because I might be. I try to preach kindness and love, but I may be not what I preach. What if I annoy people. What if I’m werid. There’s so much thinking. And it’s so hard to stop. I have so much self doubt, so much work I need to do on self acceptance. And I know that. I just keep doubting who I am as a person.

Yeah, I've got food poisoning right now- But what's nice is the quiet of my room, the chill of my fan, and the feeling of my cat trying to make me feel better. Even though I'm sick, being where I am now is comforting. Plus, my fan keeps the noise up when the time comes, lol. Even if I know I'll probably be sick later, too, I know I can handle it. It'll absolutely S U C K but I'll be alright.

I think this is useful advice, but probably not a complete one, probably there is no complete guide for inner peace. My summary of this would be: reduce stress by solving your every day life challenges. Which is not really that easy.
