Pretty much every example I see of the Arturia Minilab mk2 is based on it being paired with Ableton. Are you able to use the approach you described here with other DAWs, such as Tracktion Waveform?

Well, I can’t speak for other daws as i don’t use them extensively. What i can say is, every Minilab comes with a free version of Ableton that has limitations, but u can use for live looping. Also, midi mapping should work in any daw, the lauching clips part and looping them should be a bigger problem.

It should be possible, just put your track on one of the ableton clips. Also make sure the track has the same bpm as the one set in ableton!
