Last October I purchased the MPC live but I find myself using BeatMaker 3 more because it’s just easier to use. Not having a song timeline on the MPC just kills my workflow. Hearing you say BeatMaker is easier makes me feel better because the guilt of not using the expensive MPC is hard to swallow. Great tutorial! New sub and have been digging through all your videos today!

Hey man. Cool video. I am looking for some info i have yet to find anywhere. Is there a way to quantize an audio drum loop and then drag individual drum hits manualy on the grid and change the groove (or make it tighter if it is not) as one can do in ableton? Till now i only see time stretching but not that much of quantizing and moving transients in the grid... Peace
@BoloDaProducer5 жыл бұрын
Yes I kinda explain it in my new video today, using splices in sampler. If you don’t get how to do it, it I’ll make Video for it next week 💪🏾
@saardean44815 жыл бұрын
Bolo Da Producer very cool! Am looking ffd on watching the video later. Btw i can imagine a bit what you want to do with slicing. The Warping i was asking for has the advantage that you can do microcorrections on a loop and make it tighter while wit/ slicing (in ableton at least) you sometimes end up with slices that have sometimes artefacts cause the slicer will cut a bit to early etc so the individual hits need tweaking. But as insaid , i really miss an ios based editor like that of ableton and this kind if workflow of stretching but also dragging individual parts of audio files in the timeline. I only see „stretch“ in modt apps. Example Blocs or Beat Maker 3. but no Warping. But its only a luxury problem
@saardean44815 жыл бұрын
Bolo Da Producer i watched the video. While i find your work amazing, it is much too complicated for what i am looking for. I need something using which i can 1) timestretch 2) correct the timing of some beats that sometimes are a bit too far from the grid. I also need to do this fast so i can re-import the treated version back into the apps that cant do this ( like Blocs, Patterning etc etc). In ableton i can do this in approximately 1-2 minutes without exagherating with the time i mention. Slicing and recomposing a loop is not an option cause if i start with this i most of the time drift away and never finish the things i started doing it for.

Hey Bolo! Love your videos, I’m still new to BM3. And I need your help! I’ve been using a few samples off of Looperman in some of my tracks. After it’s loaded and saved into my beat projects, I make sure I save my beat session when I’m done. As I return to it at a later time to continue my beat the program says, “Sample couldn’t be found, Do you want BM3 to locate them?”...so I click search, then it loads my session layout with empty banks/pads. Hope this makes sense. Am I doing something wrong? Help help! 😞
@BoloDaProducer4 жыл бұрын
Are you importing them into your BM3 import folder?

I'm new this, so help a brother out! I am finding samples (mostly old song with vocals) to sample and when I get them down to what I want to use in the sampler, I'm lost. I know how to get them to the pads, but if I'm doing a 4 bar loop and the sample is 3 1/2 bars, how do I stretch it to fit the 4 bar loop? FL studio has an option, but I'm trying to figure this out on Beatmaker 3? Thoughts?
