The magazine is the weakest link in the AEA product line up. Less than 3 days after delivery, 3 mags through the gun, the mag spring broke. It is a very poor design!

Just got my AEA HP SS .25 and I have only got to shoot a couple of rounds so far. New to air gunning, I also have a benjamin bulldog. Anyway, My AEA only came with one mag, I thought that they came with two. Also, the magazine was "sprung" .By sprung, I mean that it lost it's spring tension, the tension that allows it to move to the next pellet, when firing in semi-auto. I was able to fix it by taking plexiglass cover off and winding it back in the direction to allow the drum to rotatex2. It took two full rotations which ain't easy. I won't know if it;s right until I get another chance to shoot it.

The main reason why I have avoided buying AEA is because it is impossible to buy additional HP Series magazines. No body has them in stock -- not even Bin. You only get one with your gun, and if it breaks, you're done. I'm not going to buy AEA until I can buy extra magazines with the gun.

comedy i misread the manual, loaded it wrong, thought it wasnt working/ tried another one same problem. So i took one apart. THEN i finally look at the manual Again and see what i was doing wrong... DOH/ everything works fine and i did put the one back together but // yeah. check the instructions before taking apart hahaha

I like a working Airgun AEA has good solid product I wish the magazines were easier to come bye and built a little bit better but the guns are very good I’m going coyote hunting today

I was doing it the wrong way, my trigger was locked in place, I was not able to push the trigger, and I didn’t want to force the trigger to break it. So I learned from you that the first hole of the magazine must be always to be loaded by pallet, otherwise the hole is blocked by the extended part of circular shape of rigid tensioner inside the magazine. It works I filled my AEA 25HPSS to 3600 and the last pallet was stuck to the firing pin then I read the manual and it said fill to 3200 and I had no problem cycling all 10 thank you for the review

These magazines are trash I had one of them that I’ve recently purchased worked for about a week and now it will not fit inside of the gun anymore it’s almost like the magazine got swollen/fatter in size Which is weird because everything looks perfectly fine When compared to a good working magazine . I’ve only owned this gun two weeks and I already went through two magazines lmfao . They need to make these magazines out of metal and not shitty plastic that gets chewed up after a couple shots . I took a 300 grit sandpaper sanded the back of the magazine down now it fits perfectly in the gun cycles with no problems wow $50 magazine and I had to sand it down to fit inside of the gun that’s some funny shit right there .

was it hot out? even plastic (plus the metal gun parts) will expand when hot// even my crosman 1077 mags get sticky when it is hot enough out... glad the sanding helped!

Yeah it was a little bit hot I live in California . So far I haven’t had any problems I probably put a couple thousand rounds through it since then only using NSA ammo .
