where do you put the dark slider when you are about to take pictures? At the front or back of the camera??

The back has a second slit to hold the darkslide.

@@NicosPhotographyShow but do you keep it in the back when taking pictures? Then put that slide in the front when taking the film out Update: never I find out the answer. You need the slide to be at the back when taking pics

how does the AE prism finder work? Does it inform the user what shutter speed to use, etc?

There's an AE setting on the shutter speed dial that makes it aperture priority. You can still use the camera manually and then it will inform you about the shutter speed it thinks is best.
