Great arrangement!! We don't understand electricity, but we know what happens when we flip the switch. To get light we need no knowledge on how electricity works. You just did the same with accupoints. Of course, there is much more to it, but people with no knowledge whatsoever can help themselves or their family because this is so easily structured. Keep up the great work.

You make a lot of links between each concept, it really helps me. Could you make a video on the functions of points (I don't really know how to call them in English because I study in French, but for example: sky window points, Luo points, Mu point, sizhong point, points Liu He, Hui points, Wu Shu points, ....) ? I find them difficult to remember....

I'm glad the videos are helpful! Where are you studying? In our school we call those "point categories." I want to make a video about that, but I'm going to go through and make a videos about introductory channel theory and the secondary channels first. Then I'll make a video about point categories. So that will be coming in the future. The video on the Lung channel covers this topic a little bit when it talks about the functions of each point.

best videos ever are from you, thank you. i have a question please: sp1 is JW which is for excess on the uppermost of the channel, the bleeding due to sp issues is from deficiency so its not an excess, this looks contradicton to me, i dont get it, how can we treat a deficiency with an excess point? thank you so much
@tcmstudy4 жыл бұрын
Hi Lehammam, I think one way to look at it is just that points can do more than one thing, especially if you use a different needling method. For example, ST-36 can treat both excess and deficiency, depending on whether you needle with a tonification or sedation technique. So for bleeding due to excess, you might prick to bleed SP-1 to drain excess. For bleeding due to deficiency, you might do moxa in order to tonify. Some people will say that SP-1 is good for bleeding because, as a Jing-Well point, it is Wood in nature. And Wood corresponds the sour flavor, which induces astringency, which is like stopping bleeding.

Hello sir, I was wondering how can we treat patients with organ removal such as spleen and kidney etc. I asked my professor and he said it's too early to talk about considering that I am a first year student but as for me still facing the question with that. Is there any alternative ways to treat those ones with organ removal? I hope that you can provide me insights on that. Thank you.
@tcmstudy4 жыл бұрын
Hello. It is a complicated subject, and I'm not sure what the true answer is. But keep in mind that even if the physical tissue is removed, from a TCM perspective the energetic system is still there. So if the spleen organ is removed, the Foot Taiyin channel still exists, the spleen points still exist, and there's still a "spleen" system performing the functions associated with the spleen.
@koreandelicacies94384 жыл бұрын
