A friend shoed me a very basic hat she as looming. I searched loom knitting on KZbin and you came up! I watched your "Loom knitting for Beginners" part one and two and never looked back. I made a flat top hat and loved it and then painted my pegs with a friends nail polish and keep coming back to this video when I want to make a flat top hat because so far I have not made more than 1 this is my second. I saw that you had purchased a Cinwood loom and looked into them and bought one and then another. I love them. Much more expensive than plastic but worth every penny. Stay safe with this Covid Pandemic and stay well.

Hi! You’re my favorite to learn from! And I have a problem. My loom leaves me with 4 pearls (or 4 knits) in a row, if I do it like you with polish 2 pegs as pearls and 2 as knits. What do you suggest I do?
@WambuiMadeIt Жыл бұрын
Greetings! Depending on how many pegs are on the loom you are using, it may not come out exactly even. If you have four knits or four purls in a row, then maybe break them up by, perhaps, doing one knit and one purl - or, maybe you will end by have 3 of the same stitch and then two different stitches and the three of the same stitches in a row. Just break it up any way you can with the understanding that it will not end evenly. I have had to do this sometimes and my project still come out great in the end.

Hi Damaris! Thank you sooo very much for watching. I am happy to hear that your hat came out beautifully 🎉! The name of the yarn I used in the video is Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick® by Lion Brand. The color is called Cranberry. The original grey hat was made with the same yarn. Lion Brand used to make some yarns with silver ‘flicks’ in them. I can’t find them now. I send you greetings from W. 132nd Street in Harlem all the way to you - my wonderful neighbor, in the Bronx!!🧶🌻🌻🌻

This is Ginny Phillip’s bind off. Not sure if the others were before or after. If you look at inside of loom you can see what stitch you did. A knit will have a bump, opposite of knit and purl will be flat. Hope that helps.
