I appreciate that you just hit us with the truth, its hard work, but it does pay off. My weight was always good, in my late 50's, I ballooned. This channel helped me get back in shape. At age 63, I'm back coaching Little League, Rec Soccer and Kayaking with my 3 grandsons. I would not be able to enjoy all this, without this help.

At 65 years old, I have also been doing weight training, and I have also created a video channel to encourage middle-aged and elderly Chinese to participate in fitness.

If I have to lose weight for any reason, like after being away on holiday, I simply go back to my good habits. Small meals consisting of fish and vegetables, porridge, oatcakes and fruit (not together!) as snacks whenever I'm peckish, and other small portion foods. I never go hungry, and combined with my workouts the weight falls off in no time. The key is regular small meals which are satiating but don't make you feel over-full, and fending off hunger with healthy snacks. Oh, and weights workouts and HIIT. Focused, demanding ones six days a week.

QUESTION - is intermittent fasting worth a reduction in workout intensity? Trying the 16/8 with morning workouts seems like I'm at half-speed/power. Thanks!

At the start you feel a bit less energetic; but not for long; and I find I actually get energized as soon as I start my workouts now. (Been doing Intermittent fasting for 4 years, 16/8, 18/6, 20/4, etc at age 62) Have lost 140 lbs, and have never felt better. Have Also done a minimum if 100 Push-Ups a day in total since July 1st last year, along with a munimum of 50 Mountain Climbers each leg since December. Give it some time.

I am at this stage. I have not stalled, but the hunger is insane; ghrelin is a bitch. I tried to add activity I just got hungrier. It's a waiting game of about a pound a month at this point.

QUESTION - during recompense when building muscle at the same rate as losing fat, the scale doesn't move, though we are making progress. Any good substitute for the scale to see we are keeping moving forward? Thanks!

well, as an american you mix things up.... in a weird way. NOT all the processed food is bad. Ultraprocessed food? thats where we agree.Take the bread for example. as long its flour, yeast and water and nothing else what the issue ? 2) Just take an Integrator ? what's the logic behind it? I suspect the logic is just commercial, nothing to do with what your body really need. Oh, and take some antibiotics as well, you know, just in case... I do agree on the the other points and overall there is a lot of common sense Oh, I forgot, Keto diet isnt for everybody just do it isn't a good choice, to to see a nutritionist and the just do it if the professional agree you can

I used to think the same thing. Now I usually just postpone breakfast on the weekends until lunch time. Having spent my life with the "eat early and eat often" mantra I was amazed how easy it was when I started.

Watching how all the fat dissolved within weeks was such a relief! I used what I mentioned the other day, and although it actually took a bit more than a month, I finally got strong pecs, I just go’ogled Baker Henistole, and now the looks I get from others are totally worth it.
