This man speaks the truth. I did weights, abs then a HIIT program for 2 months and it nuked my fat. I didnt change what i ate at the age of 35. Its just a mater of dicipline. What do you want more? Sitting around watching tv or playing video games ? You have to want it more than being conformable. Being comfortable/sedentary leads to obesity.

Your channel is so underrated my guy. It's lost in all the fluff, and I'm so happy I found this gem of a channel. You make me laugh, motivate me, and kick my ass all the way to endorphin city. My husband even gets motivated by how hard I push. Everytime I do your workouts I lose 10 pounds by yesterday. My inner voice just shuts up these days. Lol

I literally listen to this so often when I'm drawing so I can hype myself into my workout hour. It works like a charm! It sounds small but recently I've been able to do full 30 minute cardio sessions from only being able to do 10 min ones! I can see toning in my legs but my arms and lower stomach is REAL stubborn. I'm 5'2" about 135lbs last time I checked and working to get to 125lbs. I follow one of your old jumping Jack videos and you're by far one of my favorites to follow along with because you're hilarious. Thank you Adrian!

@@danielamolina-ul5tx hi hi! The last information was actually incorrect ! I went to the doctor's recently as I was diagnosed with PCOS, so I swapped up my routine to strength training! I'm at 158lbs of muscle and I'm alot skinnier than I was at 130lbs of fat! (For the record tho, cardio busting doesn't always help for short people like us 😭)

*Confession time* In July 2023, I found a version of this video that was 2 rounds and 42 minute video. I did it consistently for 1 months and lost 24 lbs. I’m 32, male, 250lbs, 6’4 so a fairly big dude. After that month I was 226 and I was eating like I was trying to gain 24 lbs. I stopped doing the workout because I got cocky knowing that I can lose the weight easily with this secret weird looking workout. I fluctuated between gaining and losing the same 20 lbs up until recently when I saw a picture of myself whilst caught off guard. I realized thats how I look so I decided to do something about it. I searched for Adrian and found THIS video and long story short…1 week in I’m down 9lbs. I do this exercise twice a day and my diet is ALL MEAT ONLY. High protein and low carbs. I do this workout at 5am and 5pm and I eat at 8am and 8pm. I know there are professionals in the comments that will poke holes in his logic and methods but I can’t argue these results. EDIT: the video switched while I was making my comment but my statement stands

Question About the don’t overdo it!! My heart rate (I don’t have a fancy watch to check properly) but on the machine it says 148 when I really feel my heart working, the rule is 200 minus your age so since I’m 22 can I push myself harder or should I stay in the 130-160 heart rate range? Cause I can technically go to 178 but it FEELS unsafe . I would normally answer yes I should push myself but because I’m overweight and I get so red faced and hot like I’m gonna pass out is it even safe to go from a heart rate of 150 to 170 😅 if I want to “push myself” genuinely asking but idk if I should like.. be throwing up. Lol (throwing up from training so hard, like when u sprint out of practice and it just goes awry)

The program sounds good, except it neglects the science of hormones - particularly, insulin (store fat signal) and leptin (lose fat signal). Eating what you want, if sugar/carb, even in moderation, will always spike insulin hormone, which commands the body to store fat and locks up the fat storage, preventing weight loss, regardless of exercise. Too much exercise in the insulin-spike state will simply lower metabolism as an emergency defense and highly resist weight loss still. At most, you'll spend your time burning the calories glucose/carbs eaten that day (and likely not all of them, which insulin will command any leftovers to be stored as fat) and maybe reduce fluid inflammation, but not yet ever accessing the vaulted fat stores, and thereby feeling weaker for a prolonged time, until you reach out for that "eat anything you want" quick carb buzz and repeat the vicious cycle. When insulin drops (largely through strategic keto-like eating or intermittent fasting or, better, both), the hormone "leptin" spikes (insulin's nemesis), leptin being the hormone that unlocks fat stores and allows access to body fat to be burned up. In this state, the HIIT exercise as advocated in these videos is most effective as a choice of exercise, and metabolism is increased as well. So, don't think you can just eat "sh^t" anytime, even in moderation (which is a foolhardy thought ultimately, isn't it?) It will always be counterproductive, and you'll just regain weight, and more than when you started. Calories in/Calories out is a misnomer if it forgets insulin/leptin hormones. Cal in/Cal out only works in a leptin state, never in an insulin state, where the fat stores are locked down no matter how little you eat and how much you exercise. The fat won't, and simply can't budge, physiologically speaking. Also, have your glucose (blood sugar) levels checked by a doctor to see whether you may be pre-diabetic or even diabetic. Diabetes and obesity are at an all-time epidemic, even among children now. It's all the more reason you just shouldn't eat any sh^t. If you're eating small meals all day or grazing all day, as eating anything you want, you always evoke insulin increase and lock down any possibility of fat loss once again. If you really want to eat any food you want in moderation, your only alternative is to practice daily periods of intermittent fasting, confining your daily eating to an 8-hour window, so that the remaining non-eating "fasting" time will allow insulin up to 8 to 10 hours to metabolize food and then drop, and thereby release leptin for a remaining period where your body will then start to consume fat, even without exercise. If one adds a keto or paleo-like diet on top of this, the weight loss accelerates all the more since insulin is kept low throughout the day (even during the eating window), insulin never spiking with protein and fats in one's diet. Remember, fat alone in a diet doesn't cause one to gain fat (also a long-time misnomer); sugar and carbs (pure glucose) and fruit sugar (fructose) are what cause fat. Low-fat processed foods are the worst, too, since they simply take out the fat, which is not harmful, and substitute any number of sweeteners to replace the loss of taste from the removed fat, causing weight gain. Sugars go by many deceiving names: sugar, glucose, sucrose, fructose, lactose, maltose, corn syrup, other syrups, any sweetening alcohols (ending in "ol"), like mannitol. The latter are particularly used to enhance low-fat food. Also, products advertised as "no" or "low sugar" don't mean the other fattening sweeteners are not substituted. "No sugar or sweeteners added" may simply mean the product already has sugar/carbs naturally, but they just didn't add any more on top of it. None of these are diet foods. Don't look for low-fat foods, but foods that are low carb and no sugar (or a rose/sugar by any other name). Sugar/Carbs are also the food of many diseases, including cancer, which feeds on it. Sugars in the blood are like small shards of glass that damage bodily filters, like the kidney, cause fatty liver and fatty pancreases (especially fructose sugar), and damages the frail blood vessels in the eyes, leading to blindness, an early symptom of which is involuntary eye twitching. If you shop in the supermarket meditating on all the sugar slurry and corn syrupy sludge that will pulse through your veins if you buy/eat sugar/carb foods, you're likely to be grossed out enough by the thought (a form of self-hypnosis), and suddenly a garden or Greek salad will seem a delightful alternative. Finally, just because you may lose some weight on any program, it doesn't mean you're healthy if you're also triggering your body in adverse ways that cause illness, disease, and organ/limb erosion/decay. Eat any sh^t on any exercise program and become a withering (weight losing) but decaying pile of sh^t, as a result. Sugar (and too many carbs broken down to glucose) in the body also causes rot and decay. It makes salt consumption dangerous, since it rots salt receptors that naturally remove excess salt in the bloodstream Salt by itself is otherwise a necessity for life as are proteins and fat. Sugar and carbs are not. Partake of less salt and shorten your life, as well, as the new mantra goes. SOURCES: Dr. Ken Berry and Dr. Jason Fung (KZbin).
