Danish the dangerous former sister in law is this, stole ideas , hurt my son years ago her hub is also a narc and them 2 destroyed the whole family years ago. If 2 narcs meet up it's the most awful hellish experience people can go through , they've hurt more people than only us. They are not only jealous it turns into ENVY run like never before its horrible, now they don't have much friends and family left still I wait for them to get truly punished . I'm so mad still after so many years ❤

You can love them, you can forgive them, but there is an extremely high price you pay for that! Don't ever expect them to repent of, or to even acknowledge their evil deeds, or to show true remorse for the destruction and sorrow they have perpetrated. A narcissist's manipulation and the pain they inflict is without end. It is evil and is summoned from the bottomless pit of hell...

The narc in my life is my next door neighbor. We're Not married or in a relationship. I moved here 6 mos. ago. He told me from day one, "I don't talk to people." I tho't, ok. I can go no contact, too. That's fine with me. No problemo!! But the walls in this apt. complex are paper thin. He does things next door to annoy me. Other times, he does things & I can Feel his hatred coming through the walls. How? Why, would he Hate me? He doesn't even know me. I'm old enough to know, we cant Fix ppl. This is a low income apt place, for seniors. I just moved here. I don't have the money to just pack up & leave. But no narc specialist ever addresses that. All the commenters tell everyone, "Get out. Just leave..." & In a place like this, the narc should leave. 🙄🙄🙄

I rent a room on the same property as the couple I pay rent to. Any visitors I have use the gate at the back which belongs to a church so, I'm sandwiched in between this couple with a kid and a cult. The couple are my narc's flying monkeys and they do things to make me react like smashing things and saying things I can hear about myself. I'm just grateful I don't have a narc husband, have to work hard like they do and raise a child when pushing 50! Focus on the things you are grateful for like not being in your neighbors shoes ❤

Last year my narc next door neighbor harassed me to no end, & Lied about me for 8 mos. & he became relentless and vindictive towards me. The mgmt. got me an apt over here, on the other side of this complex & I now have a nextdoor neighbor who's 10 times meaner than the last guy! 🤷 Not only that, the 1st narc told ppl over Here, that I was the problem, & that's why I had to leave!!! So Now, I'm surrounded by his minions!! I could write a multi volume Book about this place, turn it into a Movie, then into a TV mini series. I kid you Not. Then I found out recently, that narc abuse survivors are great writers!! My dad was a narc. My ex-hub. was a narc. Now I'm retired & living here!!! When does it ever end ?!!! 🤷🙃🙃🙃💗💗💗💗💗

AGREE 💯. You cannot Love someone who has NO understanding of Love. It's like speaking Mandarin to someone who only speaks and understand Greek and refuses to learn any other language. And sorry but you cannot TRANSLATE Love either. It doesn't work that way. If you try to it turns into Chinese Whispers i.e. GIBBERISH. Best Solution = Leave them alone and move far away if you can (physically or even emotionally and psychologically). Your Life will become a lot more Peaceful.

Absolutely true! I have gone no contact with my ex for over 2 months now, and he's been awful to my children, calling me names for 'keeping him away from them' (they are 14 - 20 years old, and have phones, totally contactable) I'm not letting him back into my house.. He would come over, moan about all the people and current events, even shout about things, and cry... we've been separated for 12 years, and i foolishly tried to be friends with him 3 years ago.. NEVER AGAIN! I could not imagine going into someones house, dumping crap everywhere then leave telling them how much better i feel (after i drink all their coffee, belittle everyone to their face and loosen the toilet seat every single time...)

Unfortunately the repercussions for kids can be terrible. I'm estranged from my 3 adult kids due to their toxic dad, stepmum, 7 years trapped with a diagnosed psychopath, toxic family of origin/golden child, scapegoat scenario. The oldest is a pathological liar who makes up things about others and spreads it around including things about me that are the exact opposite of who I am. The middle one having two bad Dads got into stripping for 10 years and is now part of the Freedom Era cult. Changed her name. Uses my trauma online as part of her business. The youngest just ignores me so I gave up. (He's late 20s still living with the toxic dad and stepmum.). I thought they'd be OK, turn out ok, well I hoped. And in many ways they probably are ok. But definitely not OK for me.

@@galaxy98765 I'm lucky to already have full custody, and he lives in a boarding house where he can't have guests, so now that I have banned him from my home, he's blaming me for the fact that he doesn't see them anymore... But that's their choice and they choose not to, thankfully.. He's exposed himself as to who he really is, so they now can make up their own minds.. And I have NO CONTACT at all with him, it's been a great 2 months so far (unfortunately, a bit hard on my eldest daughter who lives with her children, luckily she's training in Psychology!)

@@rebeccabriggs2982 yes, it has been a wild ride.. I definately feel for you having to go through all this, my eldest daughter suffered the most (is now training to be a psychologist, funnily enough) but my youngest children were 5, 2 & 1 when I left, so his input has been minimal, up till the last 3 years of hanging around my house visiting them.. But No more, I've had 2 months of bliss, even though the kids have had to go through his outbursts of rage directed at me, they are now choosing not to go out with him.. Hopefully they will escape him like I did, and they all support eachother, so as not to fall for his sob stories...

I totally agree Danish! If you are a person's primary source of supply any or no contact you can do is great! For the narc, but mainly for you! You never have to punish a narcissist , try to get revenge or get really upset with them.. just go no contact.. No One can beat them up for the crap they do better than Themselves when left alone. I do this over and over again with the narc's in my life. Something in that significant time alone (depends on the person and situation); it does something to them that calms them down (of course only temporarily until they are triggered again).. But, they are now ready to engage once again in a somewhat of an acceptable way.. somewhat, smh..lol. No, but seriously.

@@rogerdawson3675 Crazy coincidence!🤯 One week ago, I also confronted him and was tired of his deceptive ways and manipulation and he flipped out like the typical choleric he used to be cause I was telling him "no!" to an offer of him. And the sooo liberating thing was: I wasn't scared anymore. It didn't bother me, I could even laugh on the inside of how he reacted. He was deeply insulted after I said to him, he should stop playing the butthurt saint and should forget his holier than thou attitude and corrected him by bringing up a shady secret (he thought it was a secret) of one of his psychopathic deeds up. He yelled "YOU LIE!"😂🤣, then he stood up and shouted "From now on, my son has died for me! I don't want and don't acknowledge you as my son anymore!" and hearing him saying those words... IT WAS SUCH HUGE RELIEF FOR ME! Like... freedom! My chest and my heart... such a relief! I sent him a very long text message that after all, how he hurt me, and how I hurt him (because I was not letting him completely controlling me😂) actually don't hate him but him and me, we unfortunately have not much in common, that our personalities were too different, this family drama and our expectations in our father-son relationship means just useless suffering for us and that I wish him well in life. "Farewell, my father!" Okay. He still wants to reach out by calling me. Plausible motive would be: He doesn't wanna lose control. But boundaries now became inportant to me. If he has an important message, he can write me about whatever it is is and I will answer. But calling me just for eventual stupid mind games: No, thank you! I will stop. Because it has to.

@@rogerdawson3675 Dear Roger, please don't give up! You're a survivor, not a victim! And that's very worthwile!!! I bet this bs turned you more resilent! And that has a lot of worth!!! So keep going and do what YOU deem worthy, stop fulfilling other's expectations. My perspective over the years has changed into not longing for a father-son relationship any longer and that it actually is okay and alright not to have an ideal or way less than ideal relationship with your physical father. It's a karmic tie, not something which is meant to be for eternity! When there's no benefit nor progress, let it be and be happy. You are free!!! Have joy, you are free!!! If this relationship seems like absolute nonsense, why not just letting it go?! Before you harm yourself, or he harms himself or he gets worse in his hate and spite - let it be. Embrace your freedom! Feel the freedom! Break the chains! "Because I'm freeeee! Nothing's worrying meeeee!" last line of the song "Raindrops keep falling on my head"

Don't know, if you could read my messages, they're not shown. Long story short what I wanted to tell you: You are free! Let it be! Don't harm yourself, it's not worth it. I bet you became tougher over the years and that's worthwile! You are a survivor, not a victim! Let go of this unnecessary karmic tie, it's likely not supposed to last forever anyways. And it's okay to have a way less than ideal relationship with one's dad. Embrace your freedom and do what makes you happy!

I've discovered KZbin has an enormous amount of material on narcissism but so far from what I've seen yours is the most comprehensive and precise. Like good philosophy, literature and theater, your characterizations are a genuine relief, a validation that my terrible frustration with this syndrome is based on demonstrated, itemized reality. Problem is, however, I wonder how much of my experience of another's narcissism is also based on my own. I have at least two people in my life, both of whom had narcissistic parents as did I. All I know for sure is I didn't lie to them like they did to me, I didn't gaslight (knowingly or intentionally), but the rest, I'm not so sure.

If you start love Narcissistic, that the point they will start to betray you. If they succeed and no one criticise is wrong, they are proud of it and you are being labelled as stupid. Additional fact, one thing I like about Narcissistic is that, they really put a lot of effort for success. Not the pathetic one Narcissistic with poverty.

Every narsists had an abusive past?
@DHW256
@DHW256 10 ай бұрын
It seems at least some portion of the narcissist's problem is genetic. I believe at the root of narcissism, in our family, is a genetic propensity to be pathologically so, and it's compounded by the inevitable abuse that antecedent narcissists dole out on their spouses and children. Out of the six of our parents' children, I believe we all have narcissistic tendencies due to that abuse, and at least three are pathological narcissists who would be abusive no matter how they were raised.

But why is it so important for them to recognize mistakes? Whats wrong with just making them feel less miserable nd keep feeding into their fantasy if it makes them feel better? Why would they need to feel shame if they dont want to feel it? Why is it so important for everyone to break the narcissist? Why cant u just let them be who they want to be even if the behaviour is so different? Isnt it so that. No contact is just extra painfull for them cause no person wants to be alone forever and they are just more sensitive to it. I would find it incredibly cruel to use it against them..

How to leave a narcissist? Very quickly & without explanation. (They are going to lie to everyone anyway). Sneak out at 3am very quietly. Tell the local police what you're doing or they will have the police thinking you got abducted. ... Just realized the title was how to LOVE a narcissist. 😂 I thought it said how to LEAVE one. My bad. Well anyway, if you need to leave one, here's my advice. 😅
