Maintenance sucks the joy out of owning a hot tub. It's always a struggle. My wife and kids use it most but I have to maintain it. At least they are using me, I mean "it"

Good morning. I had to leave for an emergency and was gone about a week. The chlorine levels were extremely high while I was gone. How do you make sure nothing was seriously damaged? Is there a way to fix the cover from this? It is bubbling in one area. I have purchased your handbook and course, but don't see anything regarding this. Thank you.

@Kari I had to start again but I have heard apple cider vinegar works but not sure if this is true .
