Very detailed, i do lube the inside of the bottom housing hole cuz if not i often encounter spring crunch
@AustinPegoda2 жыл бұрын
More then likely.. I alway find that when I lube the hole it can make it almost over lubed.. so I just tend to stay away from it.. but everyone is different.. and thanks!

@@AustinPegoda is it still worth the risk to lube the bottom side of the spring or should I just avoid it and only lube the top?
@thekeebman Жыл бұрын
Respectfully, I would think twice before listening to mr. Tonchok over here: 1.) “spring crunch” comes from a spring that had NOT been lubed yet. You can bag lube multiple springs at once, or do them one at a time by hand. 2.) (now this is the most egregious part of your comment): NEVER, I repeat - NEVER, lube the inside of the “stem hole.” This will result in the switch sounding muted, “sticky,” and extremely sluggish. I could list a few more things that it would do, but the main point here is that, the spring makes 0 contact with that part of the (inside) of the stem pole. Period

@CGBuild what do you mean by being careful tho? What would be a bad way, or what shouldn't happen ? Because just having the info "be careful" doesn't really help since we don't know what exactly shouldn't happen
