Nice video Patrick!!!! We have the same method except I don’t like the idea of bag lubing because I’m not sure my preferred lube, 205g0, is good for bag lubing snd I don’t like oils.

I have bag lubed with 205g0 and had pretty decent results! I know there is some criticisms about that method because 205 is thicker, but it's worked well in my experience. Glad you liked the vid!

I heard that is better to use 105 g0 for taticles. That’s personal preference or there’s a logic behind it?

Hey, yes I have heard that as well, and in theory I think 105 would be good for tactiles. That being said, the vendors I use are sold out of 105, and I have 205g0 on hand and I'm pretty happy with the results overall.

Could be a good idea for a video though? Comparing the different switch lubes available. If only my local vendors had any 105 in stock.... Haha

@@PatrickRennie I read something about equivalents. Krytox are a Dupont trademark but there are other other lubes that are sintetic and have PTFE. I saw a fishing reel lube that has exacly the same properties as Krytox 205 g0 and has a oil equivalent that is very similar to 105. Maybe with a little research you can get a "105 g0" cheaper. The Ardent Reel Butter is a kit that is made to fishing reels that people had reported to use with switches. If the lube/oil is sintetic and has PTFE I believe is safe to use with the switches.

Very interesting! I will keep this in mind for a future video! I'll probably have to pick up some switches I don't care much about if they get ruined though. Thanks for the idea :)
