Some additional info and tips regarding this technique: - As I mentioned in the video, you can use this for more than lucid dreaming. If you have other goals that you'd like to accomplish, use this same technique with them! Start with past related successes, present successes, then things you can and WILL accomplish today, and finally things that might/could happen that you'd like to happen. - This technique can be great for improving your mood too. Just substitute the lucid dreaming aspect for other areas of your life where you've been doing well (or better yet, include both!) and you'll notice that it helps you become more grateful and aware of the things that are going well in your life. - In the present/near future section in the middle, you can also include true "I am" statements about things that are true now like "I am calm" "I am happy" etc for general purposes or "I am remembering my dreams" "I am practising lucid dreaming techniques regularly" etc for lucid dreaming benefits. - If you use this technique regularly, you can go back to previous days where you did it and your future might/could statements came through, and tick them off, and mention those successes the next time you do it. - You can go over what you wrote down again at the end of the day before sleep, both for the purpose of seeing any successes you already had in the day (assuming you wrote down things that could happen to you today) as well as for the purpose of further enforcing the technique for if you're using it for lucid dreaming/sleep related benefits. - It helps when doing this to really focus on feeling those good feelings associated with your existing successes. Take a moment to feel proud of what you've already accomplished and acknowledge what has gone well. You're further reinforcing to your brain that things do go well for you in your areas of choice (whether that be lucid dreaming or other things).

Good video. I liked the sort of goal setting aspects of this, plus the past, present, and future, including previous actions and action steps, making this more active than passive. Interesting comparison with AI. I'm working alongside some people who are actively attempting to train an AI with lucid dreaming information, so I know how giving it more to go on can help produce more accurate and refined results.

What if I were to play some music during meditation and play that same music in my dreams?

If you had it on a timer so you could play it back while you were asleep and in REM sleep, that could work if it doesn't wake you.
