I had 100% health on my 11 Pro for well over a year, but the main reason for that was because I got lucky and my actual battery capacity was much higher than what was Apples typical estimation for a 11 Pro which is 3046 mah. Mine is 3594 mah. It will vary from copy to copy not every battery from the factory will have the same exact amount of capacity. You can check all this in analytics. You can obviously take care of your battery as mentioned in the video but long long term it will eventually go down like all batteries.

I just charge my phone every night whenever I go to sleep. This turns out to be the most convenient way for me to charge it since I'm not actually going to use my phone at all whenever I'm asleep. I try to not let the phone die or reach a low capacity either so that the battery health won't dip faster. The best way probably to go about maintaining battery health relatively high for a long period of time is to not let the phone die. If it is constantly left with no charge, this will use more of the battery cycles, and in turn, result in poorer battery life in the long term.

It helped for quite some time, keeping it around 94-88% after 6 months-one year. After two years of owning it, it was at 85% maximum capacity. two months ago I upgraded to iPhone 11. And do the same things, I usually charge it to 100% but not always because of optimized battery charging. And the lowest I’ve let it go is 5%. I don’t get why people say leaving a phone or any modern devices plugged in 24/7 harms the battery. They don’t understand that there’s a circuit that prevents the battery charging past 100%. The devices prior to 2010 had not much protection. They aren’t as sophisticated compared to the devices we have these days. Old laptops would not hold a charge after leaving it plugged in 24/7. The ones after 2010 do have charging protection circuits which would prevent the battery from charging past 100%. After the the device hits 100%, then the device automatically stops charging and automatically switch to DC mode. You don’t notice it, but it’s there. I notice that every device I plug in and use all day stay at 100%. It does not drop any lower than 100%. I can look up the charge cycles in the log aggregated list in the analytics settings and the cycle count hasn’t changed at all. The battery health on my iPhone XR is at 86% after nearly 3 years of use. Though, the battery health dropped because I was using the battery. It would still be at 100% if I never unplugged it. My current iPhone 13 Pro Max is at 100% and I have it plugged in almost 24/7. Leaving a phone plugged in overnight is not a bad habit. It’s a myth that it would damage the battery. Also, my battery health is better than others doing the BS 40-80% rule. I bet my iPhone will still be at 100% after 1 year. I checked the battery health on my school’s Chromebook as well and the battery health is still at 92%. It’s a 6 year old battery and it’s been plugged in 24/7 most of the time. It still holds a charge. I don’t get why people avoid plugging their iPhone in overnight. It absolutely does not damage the battery. Draining the battery to 0% is one of the worst things just like letting it overheat and letting it freeze. Letting it overheat kills it the fastest and I never make my phones overheat. I stop using it if it gets too hot. Don’t listen to people that say “leaving the device plugged in overnight or 24/7 harms the battery.” It’s true in older devices, but not in the ones we see these days.

iPhones ship with a slightly larger mAh battery than what the phone’s battery is rated for. And the battery health percentage is calibrated based on the capacity relative to the rating, not relative to the actual maximum capacity. I have the iPhone 13 pro max as well, the battery was rated 4352 for it, but when I did some digging in the log aggregated files under Analytics and Improvements, I found out that the battery was really around 4500 mAh. I’m not complaining, it means I’m getting more than I even expected when I first bought the phone. But it also means I should take my 100% battery capacity after 6 months with a grain of salt, knowing that really, its slightly less when relative to the actual maximum capacity.

You can use a smart plug that tracks the energy usage of the iphone and program it to turns of at a certain voltage. Getting closer to 100% the phone will reduce the charging voltage. With this I always wake up with 85%.

According to Apple, anything above 80% battery health is still classed as being optimal. I generally keep my phones for two to three years and charge them whenever it's necessary from zero to 100% all the time , the worst battery a health ever had was 89% and at that point you sell it or trade it in and it's somebody else's problem.

I did that (keeping it between 60%» and 85%) with my iPhone 11. It took me 1 year and 3 months ish for it to get to 99%. Pro tips bros. I’m doing the same with my 13 mini. Still 100% after 5 months.

So i used the 20W Charging. Yes its a fast charger but i typically dont let me phone go under 50% or in some cases less then 20% when it then goes into low power mode. So in general i never plug in my phone overnight, ive heard optimize battery works infact so well it literally says as a notification “iphone battery as paused/stopped charging till 6 or 9 whenever you have a set sleep schedule, iphone uses your alarma and sleep schedule to determine when i pauses the charge cycle till you wake up. But due to my highly inconsistent sleep schedule i dont charge overnight does mean i havent on accident but typically i dont. I just plug it in when i wake up and charge it till it reachs 95% to 99% rarely 100%

I’m still at 100% as well on mine and got mine the day after launch day. Mine is the pro, not the max. What about using a apple wireless charging pad with a 5W adapter? 1. Charging pad have a built in system that regulate the temp 2. 5W adapter will cause the to heat up slower.
