Are the charge wires supposed to show voltage. The same way discharge wires show 41 volts on a 36 volt battery. Do the ccharging wires that go to thew charging port show voltage. I cannot charge my battery after changing charger plug. No voltage showing at charging port wires. I used a two wire charger but i think the battery has a yellow wire after Red and Black wires. Is thew yellow wire needed to get thew charger to read the battery?. Yellow wire goes to charging port.

is it the mid drive motor your friend wants to fit or the wheel ? the kits i been looking at start at around 250 where as the hub motor kit starts at about 150 ,for a decent battery you would have to pay around another 200 ,unless (as i did )i bought a wheel for 80 pound then a controler and throttle for 30 pound ,i bought the peddal assist system for 5 pound and brake levers with sensors for 10 pound ,,,i was very lucky and last month bought a joblot of ebike batterys 36v 12.8ah with all being above the 12ah mark in testing ,i joined 2 of the batterys together and ended up with a 20/24 ah 250 watt ebike for close on 150 pound so a little mooching on ebay goes a long way (as does my bike i can do a easy 30 with just throttle on a battery that cost me 20 pound and 10 pound for a new bms )
