Bad welds but I held on to my chair for a second because of the beautiful initial color of the pipe. Very nice work and fantastic job bringing back that works pipe look. Absolutely love it!

There are some sweet rebuilds/restoration videos on youtube. But then there is this guy, Cameron Niemela, on another level. Amazing job! Keep it up!

He’s definitely good at what he does and his attention to detail is up there, check out “G9 Garage” on here he’s currently doing an RM 250 restoration and it’s hands down the best I’ve ever watched.

Just watched this entire build so far in like 4 days. Not only did I learn a ton, i could also learn to stay calm when theres a hiccup in the project like him. I could feel my anxiety when he had to split the case again hah. This is my dream project, only thing standing in my way is 3 verrrry expensive kids

The Pro Circuit silencers are the best looking ones out there! And Id love a nice cone pipe like that. The raw pipes look amazing. Just sucks that they rust when they get within 10 feet from water.

Love ya vids mate, unfortunately a lady went through a red light while I was enjoying a night ride and I ended up with spinal injury which put me out of work and over time I've had to sell my beloved bikes... But vids like yours keep my life passion strong (motorcycles)... Cannot wait for my lumbar discectomy to stop the pain so I can go back to work and GET BACK ON A BIKE... And use some techniques I've learned from your vids when problems arise... Keep it up mate from AUSTRALIA

Matty Mccolgan , Good luck with your discectomy and recovery bro. I had the same thing on my L5-s1 level.

Thanks sean s mine is from L1-L3.. it will be the 2nd attempt.. 1st operation worked amazing as I couldn't walk before it, but my job involved constantly lifting and aftee few year's it failed.. surgeon is confident he can get me back to work so I just have to wait on the public health system to take me in, hopefully soon

To improve the pipes appearance, another method that I saw used was cold water sand blasting . The water was so cold , just to take a little drink of it would make your teeth ache . They then filled the tank on the blast cabinet and poured in the sand and sprayed that pipe all over . That certainly gave the pipe a nice bright clean look . Nice video you made .

Wow you really made that chamber look awesome Cam 😁 i can't belive you accepted that welding though I'm never negative but them welds are pretty rough an should never have to be ground down imo. Hopefully the builder watches your vid and dose the same thing to make their new pipes pop. I love your vids so professionally done. Take care Mark.

Mark Dillon someone just couldnt resist. Lol as long as there are no leaks and the weld holds its own then it dont matter. In the end whos gonna know some anal retentive bung hole like me then you got no worries

As a custom exhaust fabricator, TIG welding stainless and titanium, the welds should be enough color if done properly. Plus shouldn’t rust because it’s 304 stainless. Plus those pie cuts look garbage. Should never have that wide of a pie cut to where it has over 2.5 in of flat. Idk...people that don’t know much about custom fabrication and proper welds would think that exhaust looks good.

I did a treatment on the header for my race car but used the natural engine heat to add back the color. Buy your vodka of choice. Wear clean rubber gloves and christen your new header with a nice vodka wash. Make sure not to get any dirt/oil/etc on it when installed. Use the natural heat from the engine and the thing will come out a smooth gold color all the way throughout!

And when you're heating for color in metal, heat the metal all around slowly and evenly, the metal will slowly turn into a gold/haze then starts working into blue/ purple allows for alot better control of the color distortion
