Studying another artists work is critical and I'm glad you made a point of it. The reason is that you don't know what you don't know until you see a good example of things being done right. This is crucial for understanding and things starting to click in your head more easily so that down the road if you run into a similar situation your mind will recall good practices without you having to think about it too much.

Very good last advice! I do'nt do 3D stuff, I draw, but I see so many beginners getting into the mindset of "doing things alone" or "I do'nt want to check how others do". Checking references and referencing better artists is so, so important to progress. You can't see and understand your mistakes if you don't compare your work to other's!

To take the place of a streamer at the same time as a Vtuber initially seemed strange to me, but then interesting. At the moment, I think this is a great way to express yourself and to find your like-minded people, and just surround yourself with people who are pleasant to you. My fantasies about it seem a little childish... but maybe if one day I get into it and I can create my own model, it will greatly affect my life. I can afford things to some extent that I can't afford in real life. but it's still a long way from that.

Even though I haven't done any 3D modeling in my life, I use to draw a lot and I am a software engineer. I can already see the value of using VRoid first to get most of the general look down, before getting into the small details and creating a refined product using Blender. I have worked on Unity before and I'm not a fan of the slow, clunky drag and drop UI. I think I'll focus on making a model first and then worry about the movement mechanics and accuracy of the live tracking. Thanks for the video, it gave some solid insight on the VTuber design process.

As for the guides; Thank you, these will be very helpful as I only just visited VRChat the first time about a week ago and am looking to make something personal but have no idea how. I'm also a desktop user with social anxiety, so I hope the guides have tips on how I can add interactive (and possibily lightly communicative) things to my avatar so I can react to people in fun ways, without having to use my mic.

I have a deep understanding of Basic Human Anatomy and Kinesiology, which I think could help with understanding the modeling of Humanoids! Such as the knee line shapes, they followed the shape of the knee cap, which is where most of your knee muscles connect to.

Oh boy... Good thing i observed and studied for a long time both the nsfw and sfw, gaining more knowledge along 2000s to nowadays artists and other media, it's gonna have a huge nostalgia impact on both design, aesthetic, background and personality. Hmpf, I can't put in words, but it's gonna turn out personal and maybe a bit professional... I'll take more time and get more headaches, that's for sure, but it will be more smooth, perfectly polished and fluid than most my works i guess. It's strange only now i got the same eyes and understand how many angles all of my fav artist saw things, and how many more angles and horizons i can see further each time i look at it.. weird but I'm grateful and clear on what to do with my ideas thanks for them haha ′^^

What if u can't install it because you don't have a windows or an apple? Cause I have a chromebook and that's it 😅. Still doesn't change the fact that this is an AWESOME video tho!!!😍
@Blep352 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what limitations a chromebook has, but anything that has access to the internet to download the softwares and some decent components in the device should be able to handle model making! You'd have to make models extremely heavy for you to start lagging.. I found Blender to lag less compared to VRoid for how heavy VRoid models can end up being! But of course VRoid is more beginner friendly :3
