Gr8 and beautiful as always... I never "made something" and if I do this project I'll add a magnet in the middle of the drawer course to provide a "soft latch". It'll give a certain sense of retention and not compromising the feature...

I am very new to such wood working projects. I have a bandsaw and have picked up some small wood pieces to begin, but before I start, it seems I do not have enough clamps. Do you really need so many clamps even on the small box like from this video? I thought I could just do the perimeter, but it seems you need between 8 and 10 clamps on such projects?

Put a small wedge into the gap or gently pull the faces to be glued apart. No need for an additional glue delivery system other than your "Make Something Glued" bottle that you can have for the low cost of $9.95 plus processing and handling. :)

Great video and beautiful box! I really dig the music for when things are sped up. For one, it indicates that it is more like a timelapse (I think I've noticed this in other recent videos...it is subtle, but nice). Also, the music is just cool. Also, my bandsaw seems way louder than yours. I have the Grizzly one, just like you, but it is the anniversary edition. It is fairly new (just a few months old). Any ideas on why it is so loud?
@harrydavis69038 жыл бұрын
I would suggest doing a complete set-up again. Many times with a correct set-up and proper tension, you problems will go away. Hope this helped.
