I love the fact that you show how to deal with less than perfect situations and indicate where some looser tolerances are acceptable.

There is a discontinuity in the instruction. At 19:40 when marking the position on the Dura-Skrim for the zipper, you originally indicate the zipper will stop at the wheel's center point. During actual construction, the wheel panel was cut in half and 2" added between the halves to accommodate the zipper installation and a 1" folded seam/flap.. In the end the zipper now stops at the top of the wheel, not the center. This is a cleaner installation anyway as it makes the cover easier to install, and provides a flap to hide/protect the zipper.

Looks great, the one I had on my old boat was basically a large bag, it served its purpose but wasn’t pretty.

I was wondering if you could put the zipper on the opposite side rather than the wheel side?

Yes, that can be done.

I can't wait to make my wheel cover - Deb makes it look so easy! I love all her helpful hints to sew in the zipper.
