I have used pine cones before, but now I only use pieces of wood. I get 6 jars of peanut butter given to me every month. I use it for making suet cakes for the birds, for putting on wood that my husband cut for me, and I smear it in the bark on trees for squirrels and birds to eat. It will leave an oily spot on the trees, so I switch places and trees that I put it on. I only have around 100 trees in my yard lol. The oily spots will go away. I also have a peanut butter jar lid attached to a tree. I cut the bottom of the jar off, screw the jar on the lid. The squirrels love it. I never take the seal off of the jar, and I use the same jar lid all the time. I used the mixed seed from Walmart for years for the ground feeding birds and squirrels, but it got to where it was so full of the red seed that I quit using it. The birds will not eat it, nor do the squirrels. I now buy 50 pound bags of it at Tractor Supply for just under $19.00. I also buy the black oil sunflower seeds there. A 50-pound bag is just under $16.00. I buy all my other bird seeds online through Walmart. Love the video! ❤😊😊❤

Thank you so much! I made peanut butter/birdseed bird feeders with my grandkids and they were a mess! We had peanut butter everywhere! 😂😂😂 Your method sounds so much better! I don’t think we have any pine cones around here, but we have them at our summer home and we definitely have branches around. The kids will love it!

I cover the whole bottle with peanut butter then dip the bottle in the bag of birdie seed I love this idea also so cute love it
