Unfortunately Sir, some of us can't afford a dishwasher so it takes more time (approx double) to clean. 😢

When I said it takes 7 minutes, that is cooking time from start to finish. As far as cleanup goes you don't really need a dishwasher because this Grill is incredibly easy to clean in the sink, Mike
