This is most detailed instructions I've ever seen on the internet about not just sushi , doing anything! There is always an explanation prior to the action to make sure we know why&how we doing it! And a lot Sushi videos suggest to eat the two ends of the roll. :D (Really? what happens to a real Chef in the restaurant every day? ) This reveals the myth ( You don't waste the ends). Absolutely awesome!

I've eaten CA rolls but never made one. This was amazing and beautifully explained. I think I could do this but it will take practice to have such a wonderful result. Ah well, we will just eat the less than perfect ones... a win for all!

Thanks for the video! My daughter helped me make California rolls for our New Year's feast this year, and asked me for the rice recipe (we use a vinegar/sugar/salt solution on the rice). Since she's only rolled sushi a few times, I searched for a video to remind her the steps for rolling. This one was way better than the first one I shared with her. It's the same way my mom makes California rolls, except our ends look bad. I'll use the technique to clean up the ends next time. Thanks, Chef Reese.
