What is the circle tool you use when trimming for?
@Marcdrichter3 жыл бұрын
Yes, what is it please.
@missylee53 жыл бұрын
@@Marcdrichter I found out what it is. It's a spinning trimmer. It's used to hold pottery in place while trimming, rather than using lumps or clay or a trimming wheel to stabilize the piece. It disperses weight too, so all the pressure isn't put in one spot. Apparently you can try using a bottle cap first before buying one of these.

Great book! Thank you for sharing your experience and the encouragement to put one’s pots out for sale. I’ll be trying the projects. The insight into marketing and sales is very informative. I hope to partake in the November event and gain an understanding of glazes. Again, thanks so much.

Love to try. I have a small air dry clay (das), wooden tools, and some acrylic paint- can i create mugs with this? Or do i need to glaze em and fire them in kiln?
@Soapocolypse4 жыл бұрын
Would you share the glaze combo for the mug that came out of the kiln just after the recreated cover mug? It looks so much like the beach here in Santa Cruz (well, more like the beach a few days ago...today it's grey and rainy) and I'd love to make something in that combo for my brother!
