Another option is to buy a chocolate crust in a pie tin mix softened ice cream with your favorite”mix in candy” spoon it into the pie crust freeze to harden when ready to eat bring it back out and slice it’s SO easy and delicious 😋

Carolyn, I made this ice cream cake yesterday into today and my family loved it. I used the bottom of my spring form pan and just used a warm rag to loosen the sides and it slipped of perfectly however, I did use a baking sheet under it but I didn’t have a lot of leakage some but not to much. I must say this is the second recipe of yours I’ve used and loved both equally. I actually ordered from Amazon the OXO cookie press and my spritz cookies came out really well. I made a ton of them and gave them to my neighbors. The ones I know of course. Thank you, because if it weren’t for you I probably would’ve never tried. I am extremely hard on myself and when I mess up I consider myself a failure but you’re great because you reinforce to your audience it’s ok if it’s not perfect you tell us I was busy yesterday and couldn’t get the icing perfect and for someone like me that matters. I’ve tried to follow a few others on KZbin but mistakes weren’t tolerated because their perfect.🙄🤥 currently I’m growing my three pineapples I’m actually getting ready to transplant them so their legs can spread. Lol

Happy Mothers day! 💐 Not sure if you have any bulk Barn stores,but here in Ontario we have them. I've bought Oreo cookie crumbs already done! I used them to make "dirt" dessert. Saved a lot of time since I was filling about 8 small sand buckets. Also my daughter LOVES the filling in the Dairy Queen cakes. She wanted a cheese cake with their filling. I found out that you can buy their premade filling for 5 bucks!!

Have to give you credit for making such a wonderful ice cream cake...no wonder they are so expensive! I would have given up about 1/2 way thru and just had them eat the ice cream with the bits of Oreo and fudge sauce on top, in bowls. LOL The cake looks delicious! (P.S. I learned if you throw the mixing bowl and blade in the freezer for a few minutes to make those cold 1st, and then make the heavy cream, it whips up in 1/2 the time.)
