@@christophercoleman3162 so I passed the oral but the flight was deferred due to weather. Scheduled for the flight this weekend. My best tip for the oral is answer as best you can but don’t ramble. As I answered questions my DPE could tell I was familiar and had an idea, so he would lead the conversation to get me to the wright answer. Don’t just ramble and throw out wrong info. I answered the questions with what I knew. On the few things I really didn’t know I said what I knew and admired I didn’t remember all the details and needed to look it up. While looking it up he even helps lead me in the right direction so I found the answer. And on the things I was marginal on I said what I did know and we discussed until the answer came to me. Have the flight scheduled for this weekend so I am 🙏🏽 I pass. I know all the maneuvers but in the heat of the moment with wind, comms, traffic, nerves, and everything else, anything can happen and suddenly I could blow something! I’m ready for the flight but know I am not perfect. I am a low 60hr student pilot! Hope this helps

What paper or sheet did you use to put together all of your Hours, where you have them into different categories of hours, PIC, XC, XCSOLO etc? do you have a link to one of those? Thanks

Foreflight will summarize all your hours. You can complile your hours on there and print out a condensed logbook. Also tabbed out my logbook with store bought plastic tabs, this allowed my DPE to easily see all my important flights.

Yes of course! Super valuable resource. The checkride is essentially an "Open-Book" test so it is smart to know where to find things prior (better yet know them)
