Salt, pepper, garlic cook on both side a few minutes, broth at bottom, 2 onions, lid, manual an 1hr after pressure built up.

remember that it often takes 20 min to come to pressure, so be sure to add that to your prep time. cant wait to try it. I might use an onion soup mix and just 1 onion. We are allergic to paprika and often use korean chili or chipotle instead.

I just put mine in. I did caramelize the onions and seared the roast in a pan under the range fan at 360 degrees. It's great to watch you having fun in the kitchen. Thanks! and Happy Holidays.

Just now came home from Wal-Mart with a big Chuck roast. I'm glad I found this video again because I forgot about it. This is exactly what I need. All my previous meats always came out tough. I will cook it at least an hour like you did. I'll make your Smashed Potatoes for dinner too. Yum!

How many lbs is your meat? Mine was 3lbs. check after hour if it's tender enough in the thickest part of the meat. If it's to your liking then you can take it out and serve but if you feel it needs to be alittle more tender just add another 15 minutes to cook time. Enjoy 🙂

@@pandarush. it's a tough meat. it does not have a lot of marbling in it. you're going to want to cook it for a very long time to make it tender

I use the same costco pepper/ garlic powder. good stuff. Try grabbing some dried thyme / rosemary. They compliment the smoked paprika real well

dont forget to add the pressure time to your prep. It can often take 20 minutes to come up to pressure. Depends on how full it is.

Most grocery stores will have bulk foods section, this is a great place to get seasoning like your garlic powder. Excellent recipe btw

Yes! It was like I cooked it all day! I was pleasantly surprised it was so tender. We’re doing Keto so I’m gathering as many things as I can and this is a great addition to my arsenal.

I have one and use one yime,time, brought a roast today making this tomorrow, so I just set for an hour for it to cook ,just making sure oh do I have yo brownnit first or could I just add the btoth and let it fo its thing,I'm going yo be using nest tenderize got my meat please respond back thank u

Can't go wrong by an instant pot roast. I didn't have any vegetables so I just seasoned with garlic, salt, pepper, then added a can of beef broth then added a package of onion soup mix then set to an hour and voila, dinner!

depends on how much time you have. I prefer my IP, but if I am gone all day the slow cooker is the way to go.

Hey bruv nice video i have liked and subscribed 🔥 You can use the leftover over in the pressure cooker to make you gravy just skim the top if to much oil add tablespoon of corn flour and stir.. And if you get keen you can add carrots and potatoes chopped for the last 15min of cooking.. .. 🔥🔥🔥👍🏽

I use my Instant Pot every day. The cheaper cuts of meat come out fork-tender. If you want to make rare Italian roast beef for sandwiches use Italian seasonings and cook for a shorter amount of time. Let cool before slicing. You will feel as though you dined and went to heaven.

add cloves of garlic plus baby carrots and baby potatoes,brussel sprouts, butternut cubes,parsnips a good red wine at the beginning to go with bone broth or beef stock.You could even add cabbage,celery,rutabagas,asparagus,just about any veggie you like

With all the burned matter on bottom of pot after saute' surprised you didn't get the burn notice. Guess pouring stock in right away and adding the onions took care of it? No need to deglaze?

That is one dirty instant pot. I wouldn't eat anything out of it until it was cleaned. BTW, never poke holes in your meat. Always use tongs.
