After converting each component into US to AUD (australian dollars) I decided it wasn't going to be cheap. Luckily one full set popped up here in Australia for sale for 185 including postage and i snapped it up. So excited, can't wait for it to arrive, much cheaper than the other brand which are selling for over 400 AUD. Sweet.

Yep you got yourself a sweet deal - that's a demo set which includes the set of Stabilisers, which have not even been released! With the stabilisers, I recommend placing cardboard at the bottom of each sand bag before filling up the bags - that'll give you a more rigid base. I'll post it off to you on Tuesday. Cheers.

@Kewlus3 жыл бұрын
Yes I used the flange to mark the first hole, then drilled it with an electric drill. Then I bolted the flange using that hole and drilled out the other holes using the flange as the guide (drilling directly through the flange holes). After drilling each hole I would put a bolt through and tighten. Drilling and bolting one at a time is the best way to do this. I used 5/16 or M8 bolts

How did you get the 3/4" pipe to slide into the 1" pipe? isn't there a welded seam inside that gets in the way? I went to home depot today and tried to do it but all the pipes had a welded seam inside of them.
@Kewlus3 жыл бұрын
I got the pipes from Bunnings (hardware chain of stores in Australia) and they fit perfectly. I guess it might not work in every country as they are manufactured to different standards. Is there any way you could file away the welded seam inside?
@Jskd063 жыл бұрын
@@Kewlus It would be difficult to grind inside of the pipe the whole length thru.... I think I could probably grind a small channel on the outside of the 3/4 pipe so that the weld fits into it.
@Kewlus3 жыл бұрын
Yeah what a bummer. Worst case scenario you might need to join small sections of pipe to increase or decrease height, but I’d recommend using the one inch pipe and flange for the bottom and a reducer to go to a small section of 3/4 inch pipe. I’ll show it in my height adjustment video that’s coming soon. Thank you for letting me know 👌👍

Any suggestions on stabilizing the pipe into the flange without using threadlocker or adhesive on the threads? I’m getting quite a bit of wiggle there.
@Kewlus3 жыл бұрын
That’s unusual. I’ve never come across a wobbly flange. Could it be a defective flange or pipe thread that you could exchange?
@NamNguyen-hx7iy3 жыл бұрын
It’s more of the shaking of the pipe that goes into the flange, which eventually causes the pipe to get loose on the flange. I have to screw it back in tight after about thirty minutes of punching. I actually see you address this in one of your spar bar videos where you stabilize the pipe with PVC support at the base. I don’t have as wide of a base, so just trying to come up with a solution on my 2’ circular base.
@Kewlus3 жыл бұрын
In my case the pipe actually gets tighter in the flange. The one I installed at the local boxing gym doesn’t get loose either, so I really don’t know why yours gets loose

I will have different versions of components - Standard and PRO, like the KS12 (coming soon) and KS12PRO. The standard components will be lower priced. Thus the total price will depend on what options you choose. You can also choose to make your own components to save money, but everything will be compatible so it will be up to you.
