I’m gonna make one. It looks good. Instructions were clear and plus it looks more durable than spending $300 on a cobra reflex bag that will break. I will send pic once i finish it

God bless you man. Ryan Garcia and all of them are charging 250-500 dollars USD for these and looking at peoples reviews they all have durability concerns with this if it breaks after a few months it’s extremely cheap to replace these parts.

@@Kewlus Actually I did have a question. Will you in the future perhaps sell thicker or wider coil springs? I plan on modifying a speed bag ball as my target and wanted a spring to support the weight of it without it being too slow you know.
@Kewlus4 жыл бұрын
I’m designing an inner spring that would work for just such an alternative. You will simply be able to insert the inner spring and the stiffness would increase substantially. Next week I will be testing it.

Another Amazing Cobra Bag Reedy! Just Finished building the Power Twister one I went with a 40kg Twister and used the foam top of an old everlast bag I had, works great and can take power punches all day long with nothing coming loose. Cannot thankyou enough , saved me alot of money and I even managed to cut some smaller ones down for my younger brother to use. However now I've seen this I guess I gotta get working on another bag. If I place an order for the spring when can I expect my order to arrive in the UK and Also what is the length of the spring so I can start buying parts so it matches my height.
@Kewlus4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Liam. The first batch of springs should be ready to ship out from the 26 Oct. Postage to UK it's 9-15 days. It's 9.5 inches long. More details here: www.fighterdiy.com/2020/10/how-to-make-boxing-cobra-punching-bag.html

I think the PVC here is quite different thickness. I could barely get my 1" pipe to bend, no matter how hard I hit it. And then trying to go smaller, 3/4" wouldn't fit down inside. I may have to try 1/2" pipe and hope it doesn't break. Would like to get the spring but I'm kind of invested in this thing now with the PVC.
@Kewlus2 жыл бұрын
3/4 inch PVC is the best for that I found. It will still break eventually but you might get a couple of months out of it. The spring will fit onto a pipe that has 1.05 inches outer diameter. That’s typically the outer diameter of the 3/4 inch pipe

Sir that was one outstanding tutorial and step by step instructional. I am in the United States. How do I purchase the custom spring from you whereby the shipping does not cost me an arm and a leg. @afrobeat45764 жыл бұрын
Did you have to cut the pool noodle lengthwise to make it fit over the pvc pipe before duct taping it? The hole in the noodle is too small for the 3/4 inch pvc
@Kewlus4 жыл бұрын
Try taping the end of the PVC pipe and then forcing it through. It’s a very tight fit but pool noodle hole can expand

Have you considered using a foam barbell squat pad for the top portion? The shape of certain pads may be ideal for targets. Here is a link: www.amazon.com/dp/B08GC8M3ZX/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_i_4pJLFb2TBYSBJ. This is just an example. Just thought I’d share.
