Use a compressed air tank to fill a compressed air tank.. brilliant. BTW these will only blow for a few seconds. Real compressed air cans contain a chemical that is in liquid form when compressed so that it boils as you release pressure therefore filling the can back up with compressed gas. This is a waste of time.
@НиколаНиколов-м1л8 жыл бұрын
you are right
@maintoc8 жыл бұрын
Also, using regular air would likely have the problem of making droplets of water which one would not want getting into most electronics, etc.
@oldevil8 жыл бұрын
you are kind of right, the chemical you reffering too is liquid air, under a certain pressure at roomtemperature air wil liquify, allthus having much more capacity in a litlle can.
@deh73358 жыл бұрын
+Ronald D. Its not called liquid air. It is typically an HFC or other type of refrigerant... not air which would have to be at very high pressures to be liquid.
@SiskinOnUTube8 жыл бұрын
This is less damaging to the environment than than chucking a bunch of CFC or butane into the atmosphere. Also, because it's just air and not a flammable gas, it could be used for things where that wouldn’t be good.
@sgtace8 жыл бұрын
Do not clean computer with this type of compressed air! When you press it, this will cool down and make water condensate inside. Compressed air cans (the special one for computers and rtv) have alcohol inside that absorbs water. There is warning to not shake it before use to not splash your components (this alcohol can change your plastic components color). if you use this one you will spray water inside your pc after some time.
@maintoc8 жыл бұрын
Agreed, about the water droplets. Definitely unwanted, for spraying onto/into electronics.
@jackdare8 жыл бұрын
You can remove the valve stem to add alcohol for condensation & rust problem, right?
@raidzor54527 жыл бұрын
Ace You stupid its not alcohol its literally butane that is inside the commercial air can, there is no air. And the liquid is liquid butane
@oqutzz7807 жыл бұрын
No you are stupid, They don't put butane in air duster cans anymore (because its really flammable) BUT its not alcohol either!
@thenatureguy48034 жыл бұрын
You are just awesome for sharing
@anasalwash8 жыл бұрын
you can remove the valve core anytime and inject the can with anything you want using a syringe, like alcohol+break fluid for rust removing.

WARNING: When soldering the valve to the Bottle/Can its realy important to get both the valve and the can hot because if only for instance the valve is hot and the can isnt rlealy hot the soldering connection will easily break and as you can think this isn't ideal for high pressure tools. Normaly things that need to resist high presures don't get soldert for example hydraulic connections never get soldert.

+MCEDIXX You are dead wrong. This soldering job looks completely fine, I mean look, solder stick well to both of them. And some hydraulic connections ARE soldered. I have high-pressure hydraulic pipe, which have been repaired by soldering with brass.
@mcedixx18098 жыл бұрын
I wrote this coment for people who want to try this so i don't said its done wrong in the video. The soldering in the Video looks fine but in fact if done wrong it can break very easy. Btw. usualy any kind of hydraulic connections are not soldert.

good idea. I thought of air cans, and how one might make their own, then thought about the tire pressure valve. It would be quite useful to have a refillable pressurized air can, and paying for it just feels silly when you consider what it is wish you could just buy it as is (but that's put the pressurized air can ppl out of business). But it's potentially useful enough that I may try making it on my own

The flux is an acid that cleans the metal so you get a better connection. Sometimes the flux is already in the solder, especially in electrical solder.

solder isn't a good way to seal pressurized cans, at least not the way you did it. I'd say the most common side effect of this would be the seal popping while pressurizing the can. O and it wouldn't blow long enough for most applications.
