As someone who is drawn to compass designs, I absolutely love this!! I have to admit, the multiple measurements and calculations broke my brain. 🙂 Well done sir!

I hope you'll try another one someday - maybe with plain, as well as colored, concrete to differentiate the compass points?

I love your happy little accidents. If it would have remained perfect, it would have looked plastic, like it was made in a factory. This is so much better.

I was surprised that you didn't put one or two pieces of rebar into that main compass pointer. I hope I'm wrong, but I see that pointer tip breaking off when people or wheelbarrow roll over it. Nice project!!

pretty cool, as long as i can keep my wife from seeing it, you're making my back hurt every time i build something she sees on your channel.

Would you be able to demonstrate how to do a basic set of stairs? How to prep, pour, and form it up?

@@lechatbotte.those where just putting caps on stones… I’m talking pouring 5-8 steps. I have a walkway that has 7 stairs on the exit that I want to make poured because to stones used are failing.

For us people that don't read the fine print it would be good for you to comment that rapid set does not work in the south during summer.Instant solid product in the bucket with 5 quarts of water and the product.3 bags I have that can't be used until glorious winter.

Can you please make some molded stair steps and the riser I need to make some new stairs because my old ones are wood and they rotting so I want to make them out of concrete
@darrendeblance62355 ай бұрын
Might I suggest, let the concrete set up for a few weeks, the. Then etch the concrete with your template and a pressure washer.

I’m thinking of creating 4foot x 4 foot “pavers” with exposed pea aggregate using the rapid set. Spreading the aggregate in the mold before pouring the mix. Think that will work?
@ThorMaxx5 ай бұрын
Looks great, however, If it was my project i would have kept the points within the half circle.. this would avoid the tripping hazard and the weak point in the concrete where the one point sticks out.
@jamesl11305 ай бұрын
Curious as to why you did not place the template back on the concrete pad to cut into the concrete with the grinder?
@romeotango55975 ай бұрын
That compass design looks great but I would probably have offset the point so it wasn’t straight forward that this will stub the crap out of a toe/twist the hell out of an ankle lol.
@Spad685 ай бұрын
Maybe . I don't know but if you put the template before using the coke . And do 2 thinner coats
@EverydayPastor5 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same thing, but the template would mess up the concrete because you have to spray while it's still wet.

Troll here...I was more worried about how your point is going to crack off into oblivion. Anyways, serious question, from your words, pepsi's contribution is sugar water...so we could just throw a couple scoops od sugar into some water and a sprayer and get the same result? Or is there some interaction with the acid in Pepsi also?

I want to know what Camera you're using so I never touch that thing in my lifetime. The lack of stabilization in your hand held talking head shots in the beginning is perfectly fine for the energy of your content and I love it, but youtube's compression on mobile devices turns it into a blurry mess unless you have your preferences set to the highest settings, which often is reset by KZbin.
