Tip: Sets looks different on different races! Don't look at a set on a human and think it'll look great on your gnome! It won't. Nothing does. Also, shoulders and helm are, in my opinion, the most important to a set. They can really help you stick out, while wrists are pretty pointless for the most part.

I often make transmog sets with RP value, and most often they are custom made from BoEs from the AH or pieced together from quest rewards. It may take a while to put together, but it usually means I have a unique look. Also consider the RP value to whether keep helm/cloak graphics on or off. For instance for hunters it is better to have helms off so that their vision isn't obscured, while rogues need head pieces to hide their identity or warriors need the helmet to protect their head in the heat of battle.

I wish we could dye gear, also we need more "cosmetic" items that aren't armor base for more lore friendly looks like eye patches, a king's crown, shroud, hoods, masks, horns, etc. Also would be nice to see Shamans pick there totems, hunters sporting a quiver/ammo pouch, paladins with their book of light.

I like to start a new transmog with the weapon. My main is a hunter, so she doesn't really have any other nice visual effects when she attacks, and thus I want the bow to be the focus of the transmog. I then move on to the shoulders, and I like to try to "theme" the transmogs around different expansions. My two favourite transmogs are based on Black Bow Of The Betrayer and Avalanche.

One of the best mog pieces for the head of a warrior has to be the Warrior-only spiky head piece that comes in brown with red tinges, brown with green tinges, etc. It works with a LOT of different sets. The red tinged one even works well with the barracks' plate cosmetics.

When making a transmog, I like to follow rules such as 'No more than 3 pieces of one tier set in a transmof set'. I start off by deciding what theme I want from a set, then I use Mogit to decide what pieces would work with it. Normally I base a transmog set around a weapon, which usually makes them pretty good.

Great video! I personally like to think about what that class, and even more importantly, race would wear. Like as an orc warrior I go with red, black, spiky metal theme, but for a draenei I choose crystal and magic themed gear. I also like to equip tabads my character would wear. I choose the same gear for my troll warrior as you have, and I have the Sen'jin tabard for it. Fits the theme not just the character. Troll, so the spikey theme works. I avoid using gear like ANY Zul'Aman/Zul'Gurub armor for non-trolls, like the ones you can buy in Shattrath,

My male gnome mage with a pink beard and hairdo tends to go with the tier 1 Arcanist's Regalia with the Staff of Dominance (if I have a staff). Since he just hit 100 today, he has no transmog at all. I tend to stick to tier sets rather than mixing and matching.

To warriors: Vengeful Gladiator's Decapitator (2h axe) IS REALLY AWESOME. If i remember it correctly, you can even get it as a death knight, and it goes perfectly with ulduar and season 8 death knight mix. It is sold in Area 52.

Here in bfa... I wanted to go and see if any of this stuff still exists... I skipped Shattrath cause I wasn't too impressed with the options so idk about that one. Went to Sunweavers in Old Dalaran and I was able to get leather shoulders, belt, pants, gloves, and a cape. The leather vendor had pretty much the same thing and the first leather vendor walking in's shop was empty. I lastly went to Orgrimmar where I found that the vendors don't exist anymore. Haven't checked Area 52 yet, but I don't think they'll be there :(

On my paladin, I use the Bold Armour set from BC dungeons, the WoD crafted plate goggles from engineering and the Leggings of Divine Retribution from BT (Im pretty sure). I dont think I could ever go back from it.

cant you go to your honor venders in sw and org to get the same gear in area 52? there's a long line up of venders there that will sell you all kinds of gear for honor from vanilla right up to cata pvp gear.

Tokens drop from raid bosses. Look the items up on wowhead for more information. All cata bosses and below ought to be solo-able by all classes (although some first aid might be needed if your like a mage, or if you decide to do icc)

Many of those "tokens" drops in Ulduar from various bosses. I reccomend to try solo it so you can get the tokens as fast as possible! Hope i helped and good luck with Your transmog!

Having a problem here. I downloaded mogit today(from link) and i tryed to put it in game and all went well. But, when i go to pick the gear that i want for all the slots (head,shoulders,weapons etc.) it only has 2 pages of gear for some max 4 for others. Am i doing anything wrong here because i couldnt find any problems.
