I would like to add that if your levelling up by grinding dungeons (as a tank or healer) camp the Darkmoon carousel for a constant 10% buff when DMF is on. Also with regard to point 20. Configure handy notes - Draenor treasures to only show treasures and nothing else. In any zone, do the story quests, bonus quests, treasures and if you see a white skull on your mini map it is an elite that is worth killing (check it's health before the fight, a good indicator if it is a solo or group elite).

Also, join/create a guild. The 15 minute Hearthstone cool down is crushing my speed levelling. Most times, a short quest hop in a zone may land you in a pickle when the bag of pots runs dry, or just rightful not stocking up on pots. Hearth to an inn, nab some pots in the mail from your alts, and run back.

I rolled a shaman and on my main I farmed a 300% experience boost on the Timeless Isle in pandaria. It is bind on account, as in you can send it to any of your alts. I sent it to my shaman and I got a dungeon group of me and my friends. Right when we got in I drank it and we just played for hours. (You see, we had this planned for a while because we needed a shaman for our raiding team). We all had the boost, and we all had full heirlooms, so we all leveled the exact same. After 3 hours and 33 minutes, we got from 1-108. Just so you know, it took me 2 hours to farm the potion, but it can take forever. It's an epic item and extremely rare. Good luck! (It took a couple of my friends a few days of straight farming).

Another quick hint I've found is utilizing a Loot-a-Rang, one of the Engineering crafted items, and binding it to a quick but unused key. It saves you lots of time running up to and clicking on corpses. It works on all characters this expansion, and even works better than Glyph of Fetch on my hunter, since you can keep moving and still get the loot without pausing!

Ironically, at 16:01, that bonus objective was glitched at launch with one of the objective NPCs having a stupidly-low respawn rate, making that particular one not worth doing. Of course, that was during launch. Might've been fixed by now, or the lack of players might make it not matter at all.

I remember when I was leveling my Shadow Priest back in Wrath and I had these Lv.70 Sunwell caster gloves crafted for her (I had been running Sunwell on my 80 main with friends for old world RP gear and I decided to collect sunwell mats for the hell of it). Then I had the gloves socketed with 3 of the +50 Spellpower Red gems (I believe they were epic gems so they were kinda costly for me at the time) that were introduced in Wrath. That shit made my Shadow Priest's soloing damage SKYROCKET, from 70 all the way up until level 80, I shit you not. Even when I went into my Shadow Priest's first heroic dungeon, those gloves were still slightly capable (it worked cuz her offspec was Disc. so she healed/shielded just fine for a little while before I finally had to upgrade). It's actually pretty remarkable what you can accomplish when you have an item that has multiple gem sockets. ;) Though unfortunately most of the gear after BC only had like 2 gem sockets maximum... :(

Might be obvious for some, but this is useful: 1. Kill everything you see, don't go around mobs when you can go through them with added xp. 2. Don't kill mobs below your level. I like to kill my level + 2. Anything higher can take significantly longer to kill (also increases miss chance).

You forgot to mention one point in your video...when turning in all quests you have completed...talk to / visit the innkeeper before turning them in for the rested bonus...the vast majority of quest hubs have an innkeeper nearby.

An extremely helpful addon that few people seem to use is WowPro. The Curse version goes up to lvl 60, so if you want to go the full 9 yards, do the internet version. This addon tells you the most efficient order of quests to receive as well as the best order to do them in, even telling when and where to hearth/fly. I leveled up in a few days time from nonstop questing with this addon active.

Joining a guild gives you a 15 minute cool down on your hearthstone. Doing so, helped me do a quest, hearth to repair and vend junk, then venture off to do one or three more quests before hearthing for the big finale of turn ins and vending greys and whites.

I used the Quest addon, the sell Junk Addon and Heirlooms for my Adventure from 1-110 it took me 2 Days and 14 Horus to get from 1-110. I did go Dungeons and Quested when i didnt where in a Dungeon and allways Changed the Place where i Quested when i was to High for this Place, i used the thing where it says you where you should Quest next. I must say this is really fast for me and im Pretty Happy with it i dont need a Potion ^^ Btw. get the Quests in the Dungeons of course. In Pandaria Just still Quest and do Dungeons, like before all the time. What you can do in Wod is that you Only get the Chests (with a Addon of course where it shows you every chest that there is) and make the objective Points you Hit very fast lvl 100 :) But you need to Have a good Weapon or the Heirloom Weapon, my Brother Helped me in Arak because i had no good Weapon and did litterly no damage but theres a Help, get a Chest where it has a Weapon in it in Arak i swear this Helps Really.

Dungeons up to 85 if you're tanking or healing. Then 85-90 combining questing and dungeons. If you're dps then combine it all 1-90. I only recommend doing MoP dungeons once for the dungeon quests. That is at least the way I do it.

you can get from 90-100 in an an hour. if that. theres two potions that grant extra xp, one costs 4k (but if you have multiple lvl 100s you can get them from garrison missions usually 2 a month)

because there aren't very many new players, most people are either experienced or returning. Here's what to do for new players, or a new account: Boost one character so you can take part in endgame content at launch. Play this character for a while, until you've seen all the content you want to see (which will likely be several weeks before the next patch drops). Then slowly level your next character (same faction), it'll take approx two months if you play a few hours every day. Enjoy the questing, dungeons and/or battlegrounds: they're actually pretty fun in WoW (unlike many MMOs). Send all the money this character made while leveling to your main. That should give you enough gold to buy a couple heirlooms. This is more than sufficient to decrease your leveling time significantly. To make sure you don't get bored, make your third alt on the opposite continent (but again, same faction) to your second alt. Totally different 1-50 leveling zones will keep things fresh. Side note: in Legion you can make a demon hunter *as well as* boosting. Make your demon hunter the opposite faction from your boosted character. That way you can simultaneously do this for both factions (and get both storylines). You'll need to level your demon hunter, but that shouldn't take more than a day or two.

Any idea on the speed of leveling in dungeons vs questing? I haven't quested in vanilla content in awhile since you level up so fast that it seems like I'm traveling more than questing. In BC and up, questing while in queues seem to be the fastest (or the least mind-numbingly boring).

TheTorridestCheese Up until 68, dungeons are good XP, chain run randoms. Once you get to Northrend, do the Wrath, Cata, and MoP dungeons once each to do the dungeon quests, but the random dungeon XP is pretty crappy at those levels. For DPS, as soon as you leave one dungeon, queue up for the next one and do quests while you wait. When you go to Draenor, basically collect treasures and do the events, doing quests that are on the way.

If your class has a tank or healer spec grinding dungeons is extremely fast - instant queues and the only bad thing you can get is getting the same one multiple times in a row and not get any quest xp.

First you just level with quests to level 15. You wanna have full heirlooms to level 60. then you just make dungeons to level 90 and from 90-100 just go to dungeons while waiting for a dungeon just make couple quests. Thats easy takes 2-5 days.

However i regret to announce that blizzard recently nerfed the Ruby Sanctum and you can no longer take Low level chars into it and boost them like in asmongold's vid, it was good while it lasted atleast! haha I learnt the hard way running a lvl 40 to the temple getting killed 100 times on the way only to find out it doesn't work anymore and u can't enter the instance until lvl 80,even with another lvl 100 char already inside the instance, i should have just read the patch notes D;

I used to use Elexir of the rapid mind+Exlir of Ancient knowledge. But now it cost up to 500K for one Elexir of the Rapid mind in AH. Blizzard really f´ed that one up and force us to slow level. Playing up and Lightforged Paladin and it feels like torture to level up even with full heirloom set.

Latest quick leveling updates ive found now-a-days is use addon "Cross realm assist" to camp Krul the blade, to get the elixir of knowledge (+300% xp bonus). Give it to your level 1 toon. your level 1 with a high level toon camp a rare spawn jumping server to server killing it many times for massive XP: 1-85 in about 40 minutes. Then from level 90-96 farm the cave in Frostridge. then from 96-100, do all a zones assults, except for the last kills/collections, then use the elixir, then complete them and you have massive XP jumps. With all the heirloom gears and everything ready including about 3 elixirs I bet someone could make it from level 1 to 100 in under 3 hours.

I get that the video is for those who seek the advice in it, and it's great, and in no way do I mean my comment as criticism to leveling guides. To each his own. That said, I never understood this obsession with reducing leveling time *at the margin*, a little more, a little less. I would rather have ten hours of fun, combined with a lot of horsing around, than five hours of anxiety. Leveling on a timer, racing against time, only to hit the cap and start doing the same things over and over and over, and over again, for a year...

I was thinking of most WoW players, who make a huge fuss about doing it fast, only to get to the high-endgame and start running in a circle, week after week, till the next expansion. You mention reading the quests. That's an awesome part of the game, a lot of work goes into the storylines and the writing, and yet hardly anyone cares to enjoy it. The object of a game is to entertain, and everyone entertains themselves their own way. It's just a shame, that's all. In vanilla, quests involved some detective work, youi would have to actually figure out what the quest was about and where the quest items were. By WotLK, it was 100% about looking at the dot on the map. Shame... Cheers!

This is probably obvious, but don't level as healer unless you just want to spam dungeons. Leveling as tank is kind of alright, because you are literally unkillable and you can do massive pulls. Leveling as a dps is probably still faster though.

I really enjoy healing, but i dislike healer leveling.. sure from 1-70 its fun in Dungeons.. but wondering how long it would take .. pvp leveling from 10-100 :):) Sure tanks and dps i easy level to 1-100.. but Healer that much more fun.. and a bit skillbased..
