I started by cutting a hole through the bottom of the box, than placing a LOT of glue all over the top of my PVC pipe. Next I took the pipe and put it in side the box until it hit the bottom. Than I added more glue on the handle for extra support!! Hope this helps!💕

Hm, possibly a hammer with the top/bottom and shorter(like the sides that would be what you hit someone with) sides painted gray/metallic, the longer sides checkered and splattered pink blood. Similar to the video one, but the long sides are checkered in black/white. The base where the pole is attached could be covered in white ribbon coming/hanging off (kinda like those weird fairy wands a lot of girls had when they were younger) to be like his belts(?) hanging off(you can see them in full body sprites). The handle could either be painted checkered as well, or white. Purple ribbon wrapping around the handle going down could be nice too. Some coat buttons in similar colors to the ones on Kokichi’s coat could definitely be incorporated. I’d recommend trying to, if possible, make it look like it’s meant to be for the character. Be creative! Full body sprites are available on the Dangan Wiki and will be your best friend when trying to make cosplays or inspired props. I hope it looks good, however you make it! If you need an illustration of what I said, I can gladly make one, give you my Discord and dm it, or make an unlisted video with the image as the only thing in the video. Definitely hope this helps, I’m sorry I’m four months late. Please post a pic of it somewhere, I’d love to see whatever end result is made!

I think that’s all about personal preference! I’m about 5’3 and I wanted the hammer to be slightly over my head so I’mma say the pole is about 5’6-5’8? And thats with the box on top! Not sure if this is helpful or not, but I just recommend experimenting with it and see what you like the best!

Do whatever you want! Cosplay is about having fun, if you want to make a different design, do ahead! Cosplay doesn’t have to be canon, it’s a way of showing a liking for a character and expressing yourself. However, if you still REALLY want to be canon, there’s probably a version on Ebay or Etsy as well as Amazon. If you have some money to flesh out on a well-made prop, getting it commissioned on Etsy is a way to support small businesses on Etsy during this time. If you don’t have a good amount of money, Amazon probably has one for cheaper.
