Want to make your own dice tray? This design uses snaps so it is portable, collapsible and washable. Plus its’ EASY!! Instructions for an optional padded insert for heavy dice or more randomness.

Amazing tutorial!!! I was nervous about making it because of the snaps but after i got my supplies in and did a test, turns out it's not so bad!!! Now i made my best friend and i some cool dice trays and I'm expended my crafting arsenal a bit! Thank you!!! :D

Unfortunately I have only ever worked with the Bosal and don't use foams often.

could i use felt instead of the foam?

You could, but it wouldn't be as structured. It was have a softer landing for the dice. I would just go without the insert instead!

Do you need to prewash the fabric?

Only if any of the fabrics are already prewashed. Prewash all fabric or none. Either way you go is fine!

Thank you! I have one more question if you don't mind! I've already finished my dice tray but the inside fabrics separate a little. Is that an issue with the interfacing not being on property?

@@rhih1608 Nope! The interfacing should only be attached to one of the fabrics. If it is separating, it just means you didn’t make it super tight with ironing before adding in the snaps. It shouldn’t have any problems though, just annoy you personally. ;). If you think that it affects the dice rolls, make a padded insert!
