Using old crayons and glue sticks is genius. I love mixing my own shades of paint and wax. I have also seen some really beautiful marbelized seals. You can also get colored and glitter glue sticks which would be really cool to mix with solid crayons.

omg why haven't i thought of these beforee?? i used to just melt the crayon bc i thought it was good enough 🧍‍♀️ and idk if this helps but maybe trying running your cutter/knife on the heat of the candle so the glue stick cuts easier ^^

AAAND another tip: if you don't have/own parchment paper, that's okay !! you could use plastic instead (like, plastic covers from your old notebooks and books.)

I used to melt crayons after watching mc2 and tried to make lipstick I melted crayon on almost every hot thing I could find in the house also inhaled it in a little one time I didn't know it was bad I was in 4th/5th grade but it smelt weird and I never inhaled crayon wax ever again

So I got the wood stand to hold the melting spoon with. Almost caught fire. So I actually used a soda can and (with supervision) cut a hole in the bottom of it to be the same size as the spoon base. Or in your case, just take 1/2 the bottom of the metal can off. Otherwise, make sure the can is even and have a small kpening to light the cancle with. Not only is it a better way, but a safer way that having an open flame near cardboard

This might be a dumb question but how do you use the stamps made on the parchment paper if they’re not on the letter? Do you melt them again or use another candle on the letter and put on the pre made stamp??

you can re-melt it and you may also put a double sided tape at the back💞
