Add $30 per battery for shipping. For anyone who wants a general cost with these I specced out a 40kWh system: Batteries 36 = $2,862 + $1,136 (shipping) Inverter = $1,543 BMS = ? Looking at $6,000-$8,000. That’s three times the kWh as one Tesla powerwall at the same price as one.

Always wondered how are these parts ending up on the secondary market, used cars being disassembled? Car factory ordered more batteries than they needed? Maybe QA rejects?

Sounds cool, but I'm concerned that they are 44V and not above >48V. Wouldn't using 44V trigger the low voltage shut off quicker than >48V? Thanks

No worries, they are 44.4 nominal voltage so 50.4v max compared to a lead acid 12*4=48v, Victron does a good job of covering the full range of 12s lithium batteries such as these.

Hi, you do great videos. Question..is their a Solar charger (Bluetti, eco flow etc) that have a built in grid tied inverter. That way you can use the unit to reduce your electrical bill and also use the normal plugs in the event of the grid going down….what are your thoughts

400 was the maximum current in amps, not the capacity in amp hours. Says 1kwh on the bottom of the end screen.
