How To Make A Door Knocker With The Scrollsaw Easy Fun Project

Welcome to Adi's Little Shedshop, in this video we explore the possibilities of making a door knocker for your Shed or even your House, I'm going to make one for my son's bedroom door (it'll be easier). I found a project like this on Steve Good's website years ago and wanted to give it a go, I'll put the link below.
I did decide to not glue the brackets to the backing, but I thought this is a good thing as it's interchangeable then, if it gets damaged it can be replaced. Also even though I dropped the hammer and did break it, off camera, while sanding, it did give an incite into the properties of CA glue and using it to harden the face of the hammer was a stroke of brilliance (no I don't mind saying that myself). I still haven't thought on a finish for it yet but whatever I use will have to be a hard finish. Links to everything used are below:

This is a fun easy project to make and very easily changeable to have a completely different knocker for example, a guitar or as I'm going to make a game controller for my sons door.

Hahaahaaaa it's about time someone mentioned the size of the pencil, I found them in B&Q and couldn't resist, never seen a carpenters pencil that big before. Yeah definitely gotta do some work to get through them though. I hope you're keeping your feet up and relaxing

Trying to, slowly but surely I will get there. Bruises getting darker and darker woop'e dooo. Old saying, cor you've got plenty of lead in your pencil ✏️ 😉. lol 😆 🤣 😄 😂 Guess you won't be allowed in B&Q again any time soon.
