Just a tip from a friend Begin the bias tape from the back and finish on the front of the fabric I mean instead of putting face to face , sew the back of the fabric facing each others the finish on the front to escape the duplication of sewing line on the front 👍🏼👍🏼

The way she did it, there is only one line in the front, as the whole bias tape is folded under at the first line. There is no double line.

When she sewed the bias tape on the front side, she was doing something called understitching. It helps produce a more polished finish in the end by making the collar lay really flat instead of puckering or gaping.
