Good stuff Say, I don't see an explanation or info on the HYDROSEAL (what it is, how important, etc...), or info on the BONDING AGENT, what it is, product name, how important, etc...Lastly, if s/one were to add COLOR for the finished look, can you paint it on, mix a product in some of the cement, etc? THX

The hydrocele of proprietary mix, which I only provide to students that are going through my training program. I appreciate you watching my video.

@@fauxrock That's fine & I appreciate your reply, but the question then simply is, what does this HYDROSEAL accomplish? What's the express purpose for the application?
@fauxrockАй бұрын
@Kman. It’s my first attempt in the process of building a rock to make sure it is sealed. Two separate coats of Hydro seal are my first real attempt of stealing the rock in the cement realm staining the rock and then sealing that stain with 100% acrylic clear sealer is the final steps in making sure it’s sealed. I hope this answers your questions.

Great synopsis of your long format videos for those of us who need gentle reminders of your method to making great looking rock sculptures. 😊. Loving the videos, keep up the great work! ☺️

Well, thank you for the positive feedback… I do so appreciate you watch my video. There’s a lot of companies out there that make a Hydro seal for Cement features. Mine is a proprietary blend which I sell.

Well, thank you for that feedback I do appreciate it. I’m not sure how to deal with both camps some like it long and detailed some like it short and sweet. I am thinking of doing a Patreon movement to give access to people who want to see more and more footage.

Great info, where do you get the mesh for reinforcing? I have been looking it up. Depending it aint cheap! Have fun out there Jim!

I purchased my role at a composite company, but you wouldn’t want to do that… it’s 7200 feet long by 4 foot in height and cost around $6000. There’s a link below that I placed for Home Depot mesh which will work great. I actually have a roll of it here at the shop but it’s only $67 for 150’ x 38” tall. www.homedepot.com/p/BOEN-38-in-x-150-ft-Non-Adhesive-EIFS-Stucco-Mesh-EM-38150/203071686
