Edwin Sherman Thanks, I have to make more weights first and the weather is cold now so it takes longer to dry.

I used 2 eat some berries similiar 2 those walking home from school there was a tree/bush I would pick em off & eat, they were so good, slight crunch, sweet, tarty. Looked like a small apple. That might be the one I ust 2 eat, been 40 yrs. My neighborhood in the 70's had alot of wild fruit trees & us kids would teach each other what 2 eat & back than folks wouldn't care if u picked their tree. No cameras! No pesticide!

Great video! Wonder if you could do this with any type of berry?

Kalegirlup Yes, you can! Any fruit for that matter. I have fermented coconut water, jackfruit, pineapple, queen palm dates, and more.

Hollywood was named after a real estate company as they were the original sign owners that had erected the famous sign on the hill side in Los Angeles. It was the real estate company that name it Hollywoodland because of the native toyon there. Later, that real estate company went under, and the city decided to get rid the "land" in the real estate sign and had decided to call that area Hollywood. Having been born in Hollywood, I'm quite familiar with the species. One thing that's never mentioned is the fact Thier root system is fantastic against soil erosion. It helps the hillsides from slides. They are incredibly strong when they are established in the ground.
