Fermentation is an ancient art that produces beverages of various flavors and alcohol content. It was used to make drink safe to consume because the process destroys harmful bacteria. Wine is a good example of this.
In this video I collect sour lemonade berries and add them into a natural gourd container along with water and raw honey. I allowed this mixture to ferment for three weeks, shaking it up about once per day.
At the end of three weeks I poured some of the mixture into a coconut funnel with yucca plant fibers as a strainer to separate the unusable residue and seeds and then I drank it. The drink was stronger than I expected and quite tasty. I did get a little buzz from it then I felt very relaxed and wanted to sleep but I don't know the actual alcohol content. More experiments will follow.
