Very interesting, John. I'm reminded of award-winning garden club designs featured in a book of the same by a local author/designer. I've never had much success with spray roses. I find they do not hold up well. Hope you are well, and continuing to enjoy summer!

@@stepps511 thank you! Are the spray roses your garden roses? Home cut roses really last differently to commercial stems ! Yes, we have a heatwave just now but that’s fine! I can siesta in the afternoon! Have a great week!

John, No, the spray roses I’m referring to have been commercial ones. I’ve talked with one or two (not local) designers that report that they, too, have difficulty with spray roses. It’s a mystery! Stay cool!
