I will add this to my list of future projects! Personally I would design it so the top (when pouring) has slightly more wood (1/4in or 0.5 cm) than the bottom. Its a lot easier to remove excess wood than resin.

Love that it’s a circle. Always spinning. Starting with black/white. For light/dark in us. Then the beauty in the light with the tree and colors all trying to get out. But gets sucked back in from the dark edges. The circle is whole. Beautiful work of art!

Я использую эту эпоксидную смолу. epoksimarket.com/mass Для этого типа работ используйте эпоксидную смолу для больших объемов (толстое литье). Соблюдайте технические характеристики используемой эпоксидной смолы. Обратите особое внимание на такие детали, как толщина отливки и температура окружающей среды за один раз.

Your work is so amazing! I love this piece it’s dreamlike. I have a question how did you get tiny bubbles to appear right near the flowers? It’s a really cool effect and looks like fireflies. I was wondering if you did something special for it to occur. I didn’t expect it because you did the lighter trick that gets rid of bubbles on top.

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it. I didn't do anything special for the bubbles. Since I did not degas the epoxy with a vacuum machine and nothing special was applied to prevent bubbles, they formed on their own.

I’m no expert, but I’ve watched my fair share of resin videos and what I think happened is that air was caught underneath and in the moss/bush and flowers, making air bubbles form in the resin. If you use a pressure pot you won’t get this effect. But sometimes the bubbles can float to the top and cause imperfections on the surface, so just be careful. And again, I’m no expert on resin so you should probably fact check this, hope it though

How long will it take you if you polish by hand? And do you have to sand before polishing? Great video thanks!

After the epoxy has dried, the surface is not completely flat. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the sanding steps to remove the surface imperfections. Polishing by hand will not give a good result. Instead of this, if you have a rotary drill or a cordless drill, applying it by attaching a polishing sponge to the tip will give very good results. My advice to you is that if you have never worked with epoxy before, please start with small works such as necklaces.

Before using the leds you bought, test whether they are warm and then use them. Also, if you don't have epoxy experience before, my advice to you is to start doing bigger studies like this as you improve yourself on epoxy by doing small studies like necklaces.

I have a bit of experience with epoxy as a hobby, i've been making small to medium epoxy & wood projects and have had bad experiences with overheated epoxy when sanding them too hard or running them through a planer. Although i'm sure led won't be that hot, but still.. Maybe building a system where the led can be replaced if they die or get too hot could be nice?

Ortam sıcaklığına bağlı olarak kuruma süresi değişiklik gösterir. 2-5 gün kuruma süresi, havalar sıcak olduğu için 2 günde kurudu mümkünse 18, 20 derecelik ortam sıcaklıklarında döküm yapınız kuruma süresi ortalama 3 gün sürecektir ama daha iyi bir sonuç alacaksınız.
