Could you carefully and slowly bend the handle side of the cookie at the end, after you drill the hole to close it a bit more to match the other side? Great tutorial and a very cute idea!

I thought about that but I wasn’t confident that I’d drill in the hole in what was going to be the center of the fold. 😂 Give it a try!

I was going to ask exactly that or if there is a reason why she didn’t do it first. But also being a newbie I would have liked to watch her drill the hole! I’m not quite sure how she would set it up on the drill press.

@@bangitoutdesigns1559 Hi, You can drill first before bending. I just wasn’t confident that I’d drill my hole in the right place. I put my fortune cookie on a couple of pieces of wood and used my hand drill.

Thanks! I’ve done that when annealing silver coins but since they aren’t really plated but more silver I wasn’t sure the sharpie method would be safe.
