I bought the ExcelPro, and very useful for me. i'm a production engineer and reviewing this, and planning to recommend to my Manager. I have some request: 1. (I bought the "Day" version), but how can I edit the to have this increment of half day (.50), quarter (.25) . 2. There is an option of adding "column", how can I move the column in the worksheet, e.g. - adding description column to a task.

Thank you buying the Pro version. We currently can set the duration as a whole number. The developers are working on a version that will allow fraction of days/ hours. You can unhide the notes column in the Settings window under the columns tab. You can also move columns around as well or insert new custom columns.

Hi John, Thanks for your informative video. I have been trying out the hourly view template and it works very well. I realize I'll need to invest in the Pro version BUT I noticed that the GANTT chart get really very long if all 24 hours are in the chart. Is it possible to NOT display NON WORKING hours so the GANTT chart will be more than 75% shorter. If there is anyone else out there that can assist, please do not hesitate to provide some pointers. Hi, your tool is really awsome. I'll ask my boss to allow me for the Pro version soon. I have 2 questions: 1) In the free version, if I make a mistake and want to Undo it, the Undo option is not active in the template. It also does not work with CNTRL + Z. What can I do? 2) Some of my task names are too long and are hidden by the next cell (indicating the Priority). It does not work if I simply try to make the make the cell bigger by pulling it on the right side. How can I view the full task name?

Thank you Junaid. You can try increasing the task column width and then try wrapping the text. The excel Undo button unfortunately go one step back at a time whereas the automation would have done a thousand changes in a few milliseconds and hence can't be used.

Okay, I have purchased Pro. If I want to set tasks, like framing, to a standard "task" with it's own color say brown, then another standard task, like electrical, to yellow...etc. etc., how do I do that so I use the same common tasks against multiple projects? Then how can I sort all of the tasks from all projects in a single Gantt? In other words, I want to see the framing needs from 10 different projects so I can see where, given current staffing, there is a conflict of resource. That would mean I would have to change timelines or add staff to keep all projects framing needs as is....

David, you can double click a task to set the task color for that particular task. We are planning to integrate resource capacity planner into Gantt Excel later this year.

Hello, The tool is very good and helpful. I would like to ask you to make actual start date and actual finish. When you put times in actual start date and actual finish date to visualize how long in really taks. A lot of time it happens that when you start some task actual time to finish is longer that what you plan.

We have this feature where you can track baseline and actual dates. We also have a status field to track completed, in-progress, planned etc. And the next version will allow you to add custom status using your own formulas.

Hello, I tried to ask you a question through your website but there is no reach point before being a customer. I hope I can get to someone. I would like to use your product as a production schedule tool. If I can manage to set dependencies automatically I believe it will work without any modification. Is there a way that I can set the dependency of a task to the task one row above it. So every new task (Product that needs to be produce) will be dependent finish to start the one above. But if I move the task one row below dependency should be changed automatically. Is there a way to do that?
