you should cover the bowel with a transparent plastic film and make several small holes in that film.

Gnats & fruit flies are different bug's they are not attracted to the same thing.

I just put dish soap, vinegar, orange slices, fruit scented body wash, water, and orange slices in one container and mixed it up. I am probably going to add a plastic film on top with a small opening as well. Do you think that would get rid of them? Should I add bleach or something else to kill them?
