fascinating topic! so much deeper than the title suggests! how social bonds form is amazing, and how we can be very wrong about someone, or love certain things that might hurt us later. I liked trying to understand the perspectives of the people as they spoke about first impressions of their best friends or partner. to see how what they said was informed by who they are. and it was funny, when the lady said to be nice, and the interviewer said that was a trick. I missed the word for trick, there. but to me, "trick" has a very negative connotation. so whatever word they used, it must have a neutral or positive connotation, since the lady was not offended, that being nice was considered a trick. :)

Para mí, la primera impresión a menudo no es correcto. A veces por la primera impresión me cae bien una persona y quiero ser amigos con ella y al final no estamos amigos cercanos. Pero con otros, a la primera impresión no me parece como una persona con quien voy a ser amigos, pero al final son buenas amigas para mí. 😂😅 Entonces, la primera impresión puede ser equivocada.

There is something weird with Spanish I cant describe, the language feels like its so smooth as if you cant really say or describe something harsh with it. Greek also feels the same for me when I hear, its like the opposite of German stereotype. Also interviewer girl is beyond being cute I should have stop watching, otherwise I will fall in love with someone I will never see lol

@@vamos1931 Yo entiendo la majoria plabras de espanol, Pero el Grammar (oraciones) de espanol es muy difficil I know most Spanish words( 60-70-80%) But, Spanish Grammar sucks, as everything is irregularly irregular. It will eat, the whole of my brain, if try to memorise all irregular Spanish verbs. ( I am Fluent, on Persian, pashto, urdu, hindi arabic and English. The last Language (Spanish) ,I have been learning intensely, for the past 10 years, But my confidence of Spanish language is zero

La primera impresion cierta o equivocada, te hace o no querer volver a estar con esa persona una otra vez. Pero no debe ser importante al punto de rechazar o aceptar esa persona. La persona puede haber estado en un malo dia y al reves la personalidad puede abrir puertas, pero solamente el caracter puede mantenerlas abiertas. Sobre como causar una buena impresion, mi idea es que no se intente hacerlo! Se debe siempre ser el más natural posible. No tenemos que agradar a toda la gente. Las personas se encajan naturalmente

Hola Sara! Concuerdo con lo que dijo la mujer en 1:42. No creo que tenga importancia lo que los demás opinan de nosotros pero sé que en algunas situaciones causar una buena impresión es bastante imprescindible, por ejemplo, antes de una entrevista laboral o durante una primera cita son dos contextos en los que las primeras impresiones son más importantes, desde mi punto de vista. Dicho eso, la gente siempre puede ir cambiando con el paso del tiempo así que es indispensable no juzgar a otra persona a primera vista, o sea, después del primer encuentro.

Bueno, para mi la primerz impresion que he tenido sobre mi mejor amigo fue que era egoista, arogante y orgulloso. Pero despues pasamos tiempo juntos, hablando sobre muchas cosas differente, fue claro que tuve la impresion equivocado. La verdad es que el es un bueno hombre, muy simpatico y amable pero en esta momento, solo un momento, tuve la impresion equivocado. Es triste que a veces la gente ven la malo lado de ti y es una pena que esta momento arruina una potencial amistad.

Siempre vi lo de la importancia de la primera impresión como algo "sobrevalorado". La primera impresión en realidad se diluye muy rápido si habrá muchas más interacciones con esas personas en el futuro cercano. No es algo que marque mucho. Sólo tiene importancia cuando es a "todo o nada", por ejemplo, a la hora de vender algo a alguien que difícilmente verás más. No tiene tanta importancia ni es algo tan definitivo como tanto se dice hoy en día.
