Thank you so so much!! Easiest way by far I've found. Just made one but used cable ties since I didnt have fence clips and it still worked a treat. Super grateful for this very well made how to vid 👍😃

Thanks Tim, I have just made 2 this morning using different rope. Now, hopefully I will be able to tie my goats so I can trim their hooves. Thanks again.

Have made identical halters before but when securing the small loops, my grandpa originally taught me to band the eyelet with canvas thread, used to patch tarps. My dad, however, purchased hemp rope in bulk for trying down loads on trailers, flat top trucks, etc. After cutting to length, the ends were crimped with 20mm wide, 50 mm long stainless steel band crimps. The crimps, still available, replaced the time consuming hand threading when I was first shown them, much to grandpas discust. Great info Tim. 👍👍🇦🇺

Thank you for making the video to share your skills. Would zip ties do instead of using wire clips? Thanks again.

I wouldn’t rely on them mate.

Sounds like a nice drop of rain you were getting whilst you made this vid...back in early November 2019 it must have been the only rain falling anywhere in eastern Australia!

Can these be used for dogs
@FarmLearningTim3 жыл бұрын
Not sure I would recommend that. Halter leads on dogs don’t close the mouth when pulled
